Lisa Knight, I actually hope you're lying about having been raped, as much as that would be a low and terrible thing to lie about, since rape is horrific, even without unwanted pregnancy. I hope that, if you are telling the truth, that whatever legal procedings are underway go well, and that you continue seeing a therapist, if not the one who spoke with you when you delivered your child (whenever that was, since you haven't said when, I'm assuming it was recently.)

However, please remember that it was your choice to carry to term, and then to keep your little boy/girl. Saying all women must go through what you went through is just as much violating their freedom as it would be if your mother had successfully forced you to abort.

I'm pro-rationality.

By that, I mean a woman has every right to have an abortion if she's gone through some tough times.
But hell, there are some folks, they seem to change their mind at the WORST possible time, as in the last minute. Then there are people who seem to think that the emotions evoked by abortion are kinda funny. I don't believe abortion is murder, but it's pretty damn close, close enough that it should be reasonably expected to see some peopled get riled up about it. So yeah, even if you are pro-choice, don't kick your neighbor's dog.

yes i agree with this but they should have a sit down with the mothers and explain all possible options and explain what lethal and non lethal ways they can do for the mother. their are places that can put their child up for adoption if they dont want them.

If there is a situation where someone doesn't want their baby, it is most likely for a legit reason like being too young or not being in the right environment.
I can't understand why people would want to force a baby into existence where it wouldn't be able to live in correct conditions with it's parents.

i have to disagree with you on this.
killing an inocent baby is technically murder its a living human being that is developing in the mothers womb killing the baby isnt right.
their are places that we can put our child up for adoption where they will live happy and peaceful lives.

i ask you this if you wer a developing baby in your mothers womb would you want to live or die?

Pro-choice, but i believe there should be certain protocols before getting an abortion like: if you were raped then you have all the right to an abortion because it wasn't your choice to get pregnant but if the individual gets pregnant due to the lack of common sense and not using protection that is all on them.

Pro responsible choice
All pregnancies are dangerous. Not all women can have the baby safely. Yeah-yeah adoption is a great option but what about prenatal care? Not everyone have the wonderful option of bed rest, some of us have to work to survive! Not all women can carry babies. I've had a miscarriage, it's the worst thing in the world...Did I murder my baby? I didn't even know I was pregnant until right before it happened. I did activities that might have killed the fetus, does that make me a murderer? No. Does a young, scared, girl who doesn't have the money to buy prenatal vitamins, take time off of work, and doesn't have a safe home, mean that if she chooses abortion shes a bad person or a murderer? No. The best option for her was abortion.
