Personally I'd go for the black because they won't show dirt as much and I generally lean towards black. But you should consider your current wardrobe. If you already have a pair of black/white sneakers, go for the opposite. The goal is to buy shoes that work with something you already have without getting things that are too similar.

id go with black always over white just because black matches more things and white shoes scuff and get dirty faster. (like princess-luni said)
