Hmm. Something with a sweetheart neckline because you can't go wrong with those, something simple, dark blue maybe? Sequins make me want to barf so none of that. And not too short or too long, something good and mid-length. Well, long is okay if there's some kind of slit.
I'd wear pearls with it. I like simplicity.

Ignore the rest of the outfit.
Black skinny trousers, navy/gold blazer, white tee with all over graphic, patent leather shoes. What I wore to my last prom, went down well, actually.

i throughly enjoyed prom! i went once, last april to be exact. i look forward to attending this year as well! i dressed in a formal tux, with a fedora adorned with skulls, and carried a cane adorned with skulls as well. i was quite the life of the party, dancing with 6 or 7 different young women through out the evening! things will be rather different this year though, as i have a girlfriend i shall be taking! biggrin

my senior prom dress was...PERFECT. for me at least!!! mind you, these pictures are not from prom night (they are OLLLLDDDD!), because i don't have any digital ones, but these show you the dress!!





i got this dress for 10 DOLLARS at a salvation army and it fit me PERFECTLY. it was the best find ever! i wore it again at military ball my freshman year in college and did my hair like Belle from Beauty and the Beast, because the dress is gold and all, and i LOVE Belle ^_^

my hair on prom night was VERY simple, three ponytails arranged vertically on the back of my head, each one tied in a knot and pinned down (my hair was pretty long)....i wish i had pictures!

I'm not quite sure what I should wear. We actually have a dress code, which sucks. But if i ever actually go to a prom I want to look different. I need some ideas.
