I'm tired of paying like $35 for a cheap pair of boots from the mall, They ALWAYS end up ripping from the sole and its annoying I've bought like 5 pairs of shoes like that In like the past two years
I want a pair that Lasts! So Im thinking of buying some uggs.... So do you think that it is a good investment? or Should I just do with an America eagle pair which is around $40? Also If you have them, have your soles ripped? Opinions please ;~;
I've had mine for three or four Chicago winters and they're fine.

I didn't. I wasn't exactly wading through snow in them but they got decently soaked and are still fine.

why would you spend all that money on them and then NOT protect them?

Just putting this out there... You do know you can get boots resoled, right?

By all means, get the good quality boots and take care of them, but if you have issues with the soles take them to a cobbler and have them repaired. You'll save money in the long run and you won't need to throw out your boots.

yes, you don't need to use anything ugg brand.
you can find similar products at journeys, shi, target, walmart, etc.
or most shoe stores.

No problem, I think it's a shame to throw out nice boots.
