Recently I've been very interested in Steampunk, and if I had the money and parents that would allow it, I would totally deck myself out. GOD, I love it!! Gears, leather, and lace - oh my!!

post WWI? Uh, retake European History? lawlz. I think you mean pre-WWI... yeah... Industrial Revolution-era, mostly.

Emphasis on steam technology, but with a cyberpunk edge to it, hence "steampunk"

It's so awesome! I was interested in it for awhile but it's really not well known at all. The only thing I could find about it was a tiny community on livejournal. (Ok, not that tiny, I see other people like it, but really the style is very new and obscure and no companies evn make the clothes) It really needs more recognition.
