Home Depot usually sells some decent-sized rolls of sheet aluminum for good prices.
If I remember right is was like, 15$ for a foot-wide 1o foot roll.
But I can't remember for sure.

I'd like some feedback on my laptop. I'm trying to paint it with a steampunk/gypsy/pirate feel. Laptop right now. By no means is the paint job finished, this is just how it is currently. I'd like to add a few more smaller gears, the skull and crossbones from this picture and some filigree to give it that gypsy feel. The gears in the copper color, the filigree in red, and the skull and cross bones in a mix of both -- all outlined in the silver. I know the picture doesn't show it but the copper colored stuff (goggles/face/rat/gear/outline of word "compaq" ) shines, as well as the silver outlining.

On another note, I've also just made this necklace and earrings set and would like some feedback on that too. It's plain and very simple, I know, but I'm not done with it either. I've just run out of the things I need to keep going at the moment so it'll be "almost finished" until I can get more stuff for it.

Thanks everybody. I started adding the filigree today in silver and some red, but my silver pen stopped working right about half way through so I'll probably have to get another pen to finish that up. I looked at henna pictures to get a feel of what I wanted. I don't know if I'll actually put the skull design on it in the space I left open for it, I'll just have to wait and see what the thing looks like once I've got the filigree done. heart
