Well, I have this really sweet Underwood typewriter that i might take apart because it's just taking up space... or turn it into decor? I don't know. But still (ignore my messy desk):



And then there's this jacket, although clearly with a better/more appropriate cincher and with button replacements:



++ small gold hoops for that "pirate" idea...

That's completely fantastic!

The jacket is gorgeous. You could do just about anything with that typewriter, too. Even use bits of it to mod your comp if you happen to be able to spend a bit of money experimenting on a keyboard or two, XD! Or if you really want to destroy it, you could probably make some hot jewelry out of the bits, but I am hesitant to suggest this because it's a rare piece of machinery nowadays

I don't see at all how it relates to "Punk" and what "Punk" truely is but meh it's different and I like that, I wouldn't wear it but it's interesting. Cool guitar though.

-punk is a common suffix in naming sci-fi genres.


Honestly, I hope that one day my style will reflect an element somewhere between dirtygothicprince and neovictorianclockpunkinventor. I like steampunk and all, but I suppose I'm technically more enamored with "clockpunk", ie, clockwork science rather than steam. In the sci-fi scene it's apparently a relatively new "movement" of writing...I assume it's mostly that it was "unexplored" by present day writers or something, I'm not really keeping track of it.

This is the first time I've seen/heard of steam punk and I think it's interesting to say the least.
