I don't see at all how it relates to "Punk" and what "Punk" truely is but meh it's different and I like that, I wouldn't wear it but it's interesting. Cool guitar though.

It's "punk" because of the themes it emphasizes in literature and film as well as the influences of punk fashion on steampunk fashion.

-punk is a common suffix in naming sci-fi genres.


Honestly, I hope that one day my style will reflect an element somewhere between dirtygothicprince and neovictorianclockpunkinventor. I like steampunk and all, but I suppose I'm technically more enamored with "clockpunk", ie, clockwork science rather than steam. In the sci-fi scene it's apparently a relatively new "movement" of writing...I assume it's mostly that it was "unexplored" by present day writers or something, I'm not really keeping track of it.

D: Or, alternatively, my closet will be a huge mess and I won't be able to post my pictures online without getting yelled at by at least 3 subcultures. :3
