AHhhhhhh I LOVE Steampunk!! I've been into it for a while now! I didn't think there was a thread about it on gaia!!!

Steampunk fashion isn't too hard to find, especially since victorian things and clothes are slightly out and about. You just gotta look. My aviator hat (theres a picture of me on my art site... link in my siggy) i found in a halloween store and then my dad gave me an actual reproduction wwII one that he found at a show or something... xd It really is a matter of finding old-looking clothes at putting them into interesting outfits.

That has to be one of the coolest looking guitars I've seen.

I look the genres of SteamPunk and Cyberpunk when it comes to video games, books and movies.

But I never been one to get into one set style of dress, even if I were to Steampunk would be it.

Yeah, FMA would have to be my favorite. Last Exile is as well. Many anime belong in this genre actually.

I have also never heard of this before, but it is pretty awesome! Some of the things are tacky, yes, but that would definitely be a subculture I would follow if I felt I could pull it off. Unfortunately, I also dislike the whole Industrial Era because it was so bad for the atmosphere and Capitalism was growing rapidly...but a lot of the elegant Victorian things do tickle my fancy, I will admit. Bone corsets? High-necked gowns? Almost as cool as the 1920s!
