I think so. Kind of like a more french-style steampunk though, if that makes sense. Like strenchpunk. Or freampunk.

I don't think there would be a different genre altogether for "french steampunk" but that's still a cool idea XD

I have no idea where to find stuff like that...Maybe antique stores to find the more victorian/old clothing (I do that for some of my lolita stuff), or thrift stores...Its not too hard altering clothing to fit what you want ;D
