Unconsciously I have been following that aesthetic for years. My bedroom has grape purple walls and black and white checkerboard floors, but sort-of creepy/antique things everywhere like old clippings and images from magazines, dead butterflies behind glass, a huge antique-looking dresser with a monsterous mirror and things all over it (including one of those moving clocks made of brass that moves around at the bottom and is behind a dome-like glass case and a huge collection of antique books which I never plan to read), a huge antique trunk that is aged brown metal, lots of boxes and things like that in old patterns and Asian-inspired themes, and dried plants in vases everywhere.

That's really cool, that's how my house looked when I was little, when I get my own that's exactly how I want to decorate it
Some new images on the first page, but still not a whole lot of fashion stuff that I can find, but people seem to be interested in this genre as a whole so I put it up there.

Please continue helping me find pictures!
I never heard of that kind of fashion bevore. But it looks very nifty. <3
Love it! It's so cool and creative! biggrin
It's not just that particular boot, alot of New Rocks could work with Steampunk.

This style is very interesting... I can image it being on some movie or TV show for some reason.
That's awesome.
It's something new to add to my favorite styles list.
Just a question...
But can City of Lost Children be categorized as a steampunk movie?

I don't remember if I said this when I saw this thread yesterday, but I really like the look of this style! Never really seen it before now.

I also find myself rather attracted to the literary genre... I think... It's a pretty cool type of concept. 3nodding
