I'm surprised they haven't closed my school yet, because the cities that surround us school's are closed due to the swine flu, and the city that merges with us, their schools are closed too. And yes I think I am. I'm in highschool and I'm too short and skinny. I was going to wear a corset to a cosplay I'm going to in June, but I don't even know if the one we have will even fit me.

Skinny wont make you bad for a corset. Unless your waist is crazy small naturally. But small may be a problem if it isnt custom. It will only make a lot of difference if it is a corset with steel boning (since plastic will bend to shape you) or if you plan on sitting lots. I am small, so my plastic boned corset is bad when sitting since it is too long, but besides that it is okay.

We have a lot of tea, but most of it isnt ever used. The only tea I like is Arizona tea from an Asian supermarket. It takes like the drink, but now i can add the sugar I want.

Hello, I'm Scarlet; this is my first post here.
I've always been a fan of Lolita fashion since I was young actually, the frills are my weakness. Following the lifestyle though was not really something I was that much into but after much denial I've decided that it would be fun to be Lolita once in a while.

And so it leads me to my next dilemma, I've decided to make my first Lolita dress.
Skirts I've done before so on the dress I'll be getting help. however the pattern is in Japanese

is there anyone here who can translate the pattern's instructions for me?
I can read some of it like the 'skirt' bit but that's about it.

Also, most lolitas aren't "lifestyle" lolitas. It's okay to treat it as a hobby instead of making a full-time thing. ;3

Swine has already invaded my school and it didn't close...
I actually ended up getting it, but it wasn't really that bad.
I'm actually glad I got it, now I'm immune and I don't have to get a shot. xp

My school is just starting to get swine flu. I really hope it closes.
I was lucky and got really sick on a Saturday!! But I went home early on Friday and I'm not going to school tomorrow.
So I've been out sick 4 days so far.

@Rozsi: I didn't think MMM's skirts were that small. I own 2 and they're both pretty big. Like they'd fit a 25-25.5 inch waist best.
