Lace fabric. I'm planning on making a fairy tale gown, but I am having trouble finding a creme kind of iridescent lace wider than 44".

I can see where the difficulty is. Have you tried looking at prom fabrics?

We only have about 3 local fabric stores my way. Other than that online its pretty much whatever fabric shop thingy you can find. Unfortunately lace isn't something that they think is in demand? Cause its sure scare on sites.

Probably the best two places i can think of off the top of my head for buying used pieces is [Lolita Sales in English] on facebook or the [EGL Comm Sales] on livejournal.

Gotta love that Innocent World xD I know they sell out of the mediums quite fast, people who are usually selling second hand tend to sell mediums or smalls on the egl comm sales and on auction sites like y!japan.

Etsy usually only has 1/2-5 inch lace, I've seen a few people selling fabric lace, but at really jacked up prices. Fabric.com doesn't carry anything similar to what I would like at the moment. Im trying to remember some other sites I've been to that sell lace, but I just can't remember them. :[
