How many times can I use a pair of lenses before I have to throw them away? And how long can I store them for? Like what's the maximum?
Well, most contacts will say on the bottle/box how long they can last/be stored.
However, I know for a fact that the 3month use ones *can* be used up to 5, but it depends on a number of factors, such as how dry your eyes are, how quickly gunk builds up, how well you clean/soak the lenses between use.

It also depends on your eyes in general, personally, I wear long-term contacts all the time, and have very..strong eyes. They're weeklies, but I can wear them up to a month before they need changing. Colour contacts, even larger ones I can easily sleep in with no problems, and have never felt any real change until around the 4-5month mark.

A few of my friends work in optometry, and according to them, if you have allergies, or suffer from dry eye, you probably shouldn't use them much past the recommended date. At that time the contacts will be less pliable from use, and might be uncomfortable for you. My eyes are naturally pretty watery, so I'm more likely to actually have my contacts slip right out (or behind my eye, which has happened once now).

I would stick to what the packaging says, but by all means talk to your optometrist and see what they say as well.

Depends on the lenses. The circle lens you find here are usually 1 year depending on the condition on how you take care of them and wear them. I have a pair of illusion ocean blue that is still in good condition and it's coming on it's 2 year. Since I dont wear them that often. And you can store a lens after opening them in for up to 30 days if you don't use them daily.

If unopened you can store them up to 3 years.
The lenses that come in the bottle are generally the year long ones.

Blister packs are 1 months I believe.

And most would probably say not to use the year longs for more than a year.
I've read that people throw them out even before then.

If used more, less than 1 year. If used rarely and well-kept, maybe a year.

That's why I say "I believe". xD Can never be too sure.

Everytime I've heard of the blister packs, they've been the 1 months / 3 months/ something like that that wasn't 1 year.

I think it's just more common for 1/3 month lenses to be in blisters. xD
I prefer glass vials. Although they're hard to open I'd choose them over blisters ANYDAY!
anyone order from barbie shoppu? they have eos lens preorder ongoing. i am new at circle lens and my friend referred me to this site.

xd
From the looks of the first post, nobody from this thread has ordered from them.

There are many other more prominent sellers if you are interested.
