I was able to get them in. I just kinda of combined a bunch of techniques I had watched on youtube along with telling myself not to blink from the solution, and it worked.

Geo Nudy Violet review ~

comfort: 1o/1o.
just as good as my other Nudys - athough one of the lenses stung a little the first time i put it in. i soaked it for another hour and it was fine. (:
i've been wearing them for three hours now with no issue at all, and i expect i could wear them for another five without a problem, just like the Nudy Greys.

enlargement: 8/1o.
when i first got the Greys, i was expecting something larger. now that i know what 14.5 & 14.8 lenses look like, i'm pretty happy with the Nudys for natural enlargement.
the dark ring/halo isn't very prominent in these, but i think they enlarge really well anyway. they must be printed right to the outside of the lens, since other 14.0 lenses definitely don't look as big, even with the dark outer ring.

colour/design: 1o/1o.
exactly what i've been looking for in a violet lens.
the opacity isn't too harsh, so they don't look as unnatural as the darker violet lenses i've tried.
in fact, i think i could get away with telling people they're natural.
i wouldn't suggest these to people with darker eyes than mine (grey/icy blue), as i don't know how well they'd cover anything darker. however, if you have blue or grey eyes and are looking for a natural violet, these are perfect! ^__^
as for the design, i know some people don't like the "speckly" effect of the Nudy series, but i love it. it's not obvious from a distance, but up close it makes your eyes look sparkly. :3

the lenses are actually a little more violet/less grey in real life, but other than that the pictures are an accurate representation. (:

i was reluctant to get another pair of Nudys for variety's sake, but now i wish i'd got them sooner instead of wasting time with other violet lenses.
i'm seriously considering getting Nudy blues & the supersize greys as well. <3

Sorry, about the blinding brightness of my last posts font color. It was extrmely late when I posted and obviously I was tired. sweatdrop

Anyway, I'm glad I came here to ask for advice. Obviously the site I wanted to order from wasn't as reliable as they made themselves seem. Gosh, I'm so easily fooled over the internet, which is why I usually never order online. Haha.

Oh, and impatience is totally acceptable here. 3nodding We tend to ramp ourselves (and each other) into fits of frenzied excitement over lenses we've often just ordered. xD I expect nothing less out of each and every circle lens orderer.

eevee- Gah-- I can't get over how damn cute these Q-cases are. heart I'll have to get more soon since I'll be tossing my oldest cases soon. (I also already tossed my Dollyeye Browns today. *sob*) Merci for the review, as always.

In any case-- those violets look great on you! o: They almost remind me of your Adult lenses. (Although, Nudys are often said to be similar to Adult lenses.....and boy, don't some of these series names sound dirty together. xDD). You really do wear the Nudy series well, I'm seeing. I'm pretty sure that I don't say this enough, either, but YOU'RE FREAKIN' ADORABLE.

So far as Circlelens.net goes, they're not scammers or anything crazy, they're just a really weird site. o.O They have an amazing collection of lenses, but they're largely overpriced. Urk. Oh, and the weird lens renaming bit doesn't help at all. :/ Reputable and reliable, but pricey and weird is how I'd describe them. sweatdrop

Yay! Glad you like HoneyColor! It's a pretty good place to order lenses from if you're new to the market. Not the absolute best prices, but completely road-tested and proven, with great prices to boot. Ah, and a pretty good selection of lenses.

jhoy- Yeah, I almost feel guilty about posting so much. >.>' Buutt~ I know for a fact that, like, a third of all questions go completely unanswered and that can be frustrating, so... I spend a bit o' time and answer a question definitively so we can all move forward. Haha.

and yeah, the Nudys are a little like the Adults (try Googling that...i got weird enough stuff when i was looking for "EOS Adult circle lens reviews" o_O), but bigger and...darker? i'm not sure. but whatever it is, i definitely like the pattern and colouring of these more.

AND YES. THE CASES ARE AMAZING.
i only have one cuter, and that's my Hello Kitty case.
but it doesn't hold solution.
so epic fail.

The last email I got from MC eyes was about 3 days ago. They said it still hadn't been shipped, and my order hasn't updated, but I will try again if they aren't shipped by tomorrow. s:

Quick questions:

is it okay to shower with the contacts in?

and

is it normal to have them be a little blurry at times?
they don't hurt, but sometimes I feel my eyes blurring up a little bit.

eevee- *shudder* Google can be scary sometimes. D: In any caaassee~. I have a few lenses that'll produce a similar effect, and one that'll produce the same effect as Amane's eyes. (Wow-- them eyes're maroon, missus.)

We can look at the more reddish hazel lenses. For instance, EOS G-206 and G-306 Hazel as well as Neo Sunflower (Edge) Hazel. And then there's the interestingly maroon-looking EOS Jewel (E-201) Violet. Oh, and dark red EOS costume lenses, F-48.

And finally, the lens that would give one the definitively correct shade: remember these? The Colorcon Wine Red that I was all sorts of excited for back around Halloween?

The ones that went out of stock that I emailed Bodyline about (only for them to say they don't plan on restocking)? These:

Lyri- Commenly held consensus is that no, you shouldn't shower with your lenses in. I mean.. you can, but you shouldn't. (Sort of like you can put your lenses on straight outta' the bottles, but you shouldn't. Haha.) And as for the blurriness, thinking back to my first pair, yeah, they occasionally got blurry. (Be sure to use eyedrops if you need 'em!)

And *gasp* You think the fishy Q-cases are ugly? xD I chose fishies for both of mine. Haha. Ah well, different taste. ;]
