sweetxbabii I think it's just a matter of preference. The purpose of circle lenses are to enlarge your eyes. Some ppl really like the halo and some don't. I don't think specific lenses are designed for halos or not because everyone's eye's are different. I think the lenses look really cute and dolly on you so you shouldn't worry unless you don't like halos.

@hurricanejulie~ I don't know if I can pull of vibrant color lens tho.

@invieh~ The tricolor looks very natural. My friend wears them, and if I don't know about circle lens, I won't be able to tell if she's wearing the lens.

@sweetxbabii~ It has nothing to do with your base curve. You know when the lens overlapped your irises, and the lens color is see through your white part of the eyes and it creates a halo effect. I also got a halo effect with Candy Doll series when my lens slide down. So small irises are likely to get the halo effect

jhoy- In light of my newfound love for grey lenses, I'd say the max misty greys'd be a good first pair. o: I have nooo suggestions for music at the moment. Haha. I'll surely let you know if anything comes to mind, though. C;

jaejae- Huh. A pair of natural-looking greys could be Geo Nature Grey (not really made for enlarging, more for believable colour change) or EOS Pure Grey. Ooh-- maybe G&G A21 Grey or Dueba DM23 Grey as well? Those're all 14.0, so they're not too outrageous.

boudicaaa- Ah, Wonder Eyes, then? o: Cool beans. Anyway, what colour're you getting?

babii- Halo effect with biiigg lenses (14.5 and above) are normal (and even or smaller lenses). Especially if you have a small iris. Virtually any lens can have a halo effect, but some are made to highlight that very effect. (Wonder Eye, Geo Nudy, etc.). Your base curve has to do with how 'centered' lenses are on your eyes, but don't really determine if you'll get a halo or not. ;]

In short-- it's perfectly normal that you have a halo. (Honestly, it wasn't too noticable until you pointed it out, plus they still look good.)

@ noxin: i'm really digging those purple ones ! the seller just calls them messish luna king violet though so hmm x___x what's the difference between barbie big size and barbie king size? and the eos version? XD. i get kind of confused on the brands since so many seem to be linked but are different.

@ invieh: the geo triworld greys look very nice on you ! please take some daylight photos soon ;P

@yujun: sad i also don't like the ring on the angels. i used to, but i like going for more subtle things now for some reason, people used to tell me i looked like an alien with my green angels crying

I seen Noxin's review of them and fell in love with the color. (my eyes are a fairly dark brown as well)

Could you recommend me a site by which to buy these? I seen the list on the front page, but two sites in, I got a tad overwhelmed.

MY NUDY VIOLET LENS RIPPED!!! in the case.. IDK how it happened, but the edge was like sliced off in the solution wen i opened it... sad

well no matter, nobody EVER noticed my Nudy Violet lenses, they just looked black on my eyes,,, AHAHAHA so now i opened my NUDY BROWNS and they look green ish brown.. >.> i have black brown eyes...LOL

boudi- Ah, cool beans! That's such a pretty brown. Are you going to get lenses larger than 14.5 only, or will you buy smaller ones at any point, do you think?

P.S. Barbie Big Size Green looks very vibrant. ;o

Tsuko: Yep-- there's like, 3 different names for any one popular series of lenses. Haha. As for the difference between Barbie King Size and Big Size, it's in design (they're both Dueba 14.5 mm lenses). The King Sizes more resemble gigantic Geo Angels, and the Big Size series more resembles a giant version of G&G BT02 lenses. 3nodding Here're both (Big Size on the left, King Size on the right):



As for the difference between the EOS 'versions', I'll cheat and quote my post on Soompi on the same subject. "The King series is made by Dueba, and the G-202 series that EOS makes is often called Candy Doll. (Although, Dueba's King series is also called Luna King and Candy Magic. @_@.) The designs are virtually identical. C: Still, I sort of got the sense that EOS's lens has more of a 'swirl' to it than Dueba's. *shug* They're so close, though, so who knows. Plus, they look similar when worn.

As for the EOS 'version' of the Barbie Big Size/Messish Kira Kira Sherbet, they look fairly similar on paper,



However, when worn, the EOS's have a much thicker black ring than the Barbie Big Size. Pic of Barbie lens, pic of EOS lens. Dueba makes Barbie + Messish Kira Kira lenses. (Hence seeing the same lens under different names.)

EOS makes G-202 and G-205 series.
