I've been trying to get into the Visual Kei style for a bit, I do love the bold colors and dark makeup, but, i wouldn't know where to start (im usually lolita or gyaru >////<; wink I wanted to try it for fun!!! -giggles- So, any suggestions?

You could make a slow transition. Recently casual visual kei styles have some gyaru feel to them. And Lolita has always had some use in Visual kei.
I suggest using newer bands for inspiration.

I know the Punk Lolita styles use recent Visual Kei aspects as well as Ke Lolitas, lol, but I'm more of a traditional gothic lolita, exotic lolita or sweet lolita. I branch into other styles Lolita as well, btu there are literally too many to explain. But most fo all, i'm gyaru, all in all. Though, I never thought some of the Visual Kei aspects ahd gyaru inspiration to them. I'll do that, thanks for the suggestion. I'll try looking for somethings too

I have seen some gothic and punk gyaru done very well!

I love Ibi's hair xD I missed Sixh and Hangry & Angry when they came to my city because I was out of the country OTL
I am not that active on gaia anymore, but I'll see what I can do!

Edit: I just joined. I highly suggest against having so many subforums because it makes the guild look empty and scatters discussion.

True lolita doesn't use visual kei. Visual kei uses Lolita. There is no vice versa.
If your style of Gyaru is closer to Rock gyaru and you insist you will stay gyaru than that is as close as you will get to VK. simply add a few punky aspects.
For an example of VK that uses a bit of a gyaru feeling THIS
It's not exactly gyaru obviously but pretty close.
you just gotta use your imagination.

I used to like his hair.. But the colors Orange and Blue and I have never gotten along xD They were my school colors for.. like 9 years of my life.. So.. They haunt me..
I'm sorry D: I know what you mean though, the first time I was going to get to meet them I was out of the country too, even though I already bought my badge ; w; But I was in Japan.. So.. If I had to choose, nothing against Ibi, Mint, and Gashicon.. But.. Japan.. xD
Thank you thank you~! In all honesty, I'm not on Gaia often either. When I was younger it used to be so fun.. But now.. It's like really boring. Once you get the items you want, there's new ones you want.. It got old like slaving my time away for pixels xD
But I'm studying Japanese for school, so all the Japanese speaking forums tend to help me study.. That is when I don't want to study.. xD

But I know what you mean about the sub-forums. But there was a lot of gold in the guild account so, I just used it to buy subforums. But.. If I would have known there was no way to delete them I wouldn't have bought them~ So. I think I'm just going to make a new one~ xD Maybe this guild will come in handy with something someday~ But for now.. Do you mind if I invite you to the new guild? biggrin Thank you for your help human~~
