Hahaha ^^ They called it an aviator jacket, they were selling them as part of the fall hooha so I'm not sure if they'd still have them. sad Yey for eyeliner though! I need to get more pretty colors. ^^

The shoes are good, but not with that outfit.

Shoes:
i. Heels, specifically courtshoe-esque ones, would look better with that outfit. Particularly cream, nude or black heels.

If you had that cut of jacket in a brown or cream I'd suggest you wear it with those shoes.

Skirt:
I like it. It goes with the shoes. It goes with the jacket.
It looks professional and is cut well.

A little casual so I'd suggest when making outfits you pair it with more formal looking items ie. that skirt, heels, stockings.

I'm severely lacking in the shoe department so your recommendation is incredibly helpful. I don't have any nude pairs, but have been looking to get some so now I know what style I should look for too. Also I am wearing heeled boots, the angle just doesn't show them very well.
Glad you like the skirt since I just purchased it (want new additions to my wardrobe to work with what I'm going for - which is in fact onee-gyaru).
You mentioned the top not fitting with the jacket. Why and what would you recommend as a better choice?
Do you have any recommendations for stockings? I was going to wear nude, but noticed a tear and couldn't replace them in time.

I just don't like that top very much, it's the material, neckline and colour. if the material was different I wouldn't mind it so much. Personal preference there.

I love the look and would like to incorporate elements of it into my everyday style, particularly with the makeup and hair, and the more feminine vibe with the clothing.
I prefer to keep things more simple and polished, if possible.

Any ideas?

I just noticed that a lot of you mentioned weight when posting your pictures or looking at clothes, how do you all feel about weight in relation to gyaru? Obviously the models are all tiny, and it's hard to find clothes bigger than a US small from Japan, but is it more than that? surprised I personally feel the need to drop a few pounds for gyaru, but I think it's more like motivation than pressure.

I feel like that in relation to most Asian-style fashions/imports in general.
It's somewhat motivating, but it can be disheartening all the same.

I prefer the stockings up, I think you're right it looks a bit messy down. I'm not really fond of the scarf, I think with a more layered look it would be great, but not with something so bare. That being said, I think some sort of cover up would look great with that dress, and I love the shoes.
