When did you discover gyaru?: 2008-2009 but I only started to experiment with it since 2010.
Are you gyaru yourself?: I concider my self gyaru inspired because I don't like to stick to one fashion only.
If so, what style do you like to dress in?: Mainly Rocker Style.
Do you have a blog? Please list if yes: Avenue Excentrique
Comments about the thread?: It's nice to have another topic in my interest field, keep up the good work! As I said I am more gyaru inspired and I only come to gaia these days when I am super bored so it's not needed to put my intro post up on the first page but yeah I still wanted to introduce my self as I will probably drop by every now and then!

Name: Bree
Age: 22
When did you discover gyaru?: Back in 2006 but recently actually got into the fashions
Are you gyaru yourself?: Not quite. More like inspired because of all the rules and drama associated with gaijin gals.
If so, what style do you like to dress in?: Ageha and Oneegyaru are two of my favorites
Do you have a blog? Please list if yes: http://galaxysprinkles.blogspot.com/
Comments about the thread?: So far this is great but I was shocked that www.honeycolor.com wasn't mentioned in the where to buy for circle lenses. They are quite popular. I even buy from there myself...

What did you use for hair products for this? surprised
I have suggestions but I want to know what you used first. ^__^
I think the hime/lolita look is quite cute, just not my style.

There's this one tiny cute white girl in my general Psych class that pulls it off wonderfully however.

The super long decorated nails are the one aspect I can't quite understand though, they seem troublesome. But I might just be sore about it since I'm constantly asked to open drinks and the such from her.

The volume and overall shape are really good! I think making it look a little more smoothed will make it excellent smile

Well, even if you're just gyaru inspired I can definitely see the inspiration. Your hair is amazing. Thanks for the support.

I'm so surprised that I haven't seen your blog, you're so cute. I hate the gaijin gal community, the girls are just so insecure and vicious. I only put pinky paradise because I actually have only bought lenses from one store and they're small and not open so I didn't know who else to list besides pinky paradise since they're so big. if you think honey color is a good place then I'll add them, too.

Welcome! I think I follow a few bloggers that are pretty rokku, so here's a few. A lot of them are starting to be more interested in more complex things like ora-ora-kei.

Nil180
Ogkaizo
Utsukushii Gal
Chrome Pistols
Chicago Gal

And then there's Sakurina who models for Ageha, her blog is in Japanese, but it's very good and you can always just look at the pictures.

Lol it's funny to see this blog being posted here because the blog owner in question is actually one of my IRL bff's She happened to stay at my crib for some annual chillax troll time last Monday and Tuesday! :'D

I also agree with Bree that Honey Color is a great place to order circle lenses and even gyaru lashes such as Dollywink and Diamond lash. I have great experiences with them!

Ps: thank you very for your compliment! <3

@Bree > Hey if I remember correctly you used to be into loli for quite some years right? It's cool to see how many fellow former loli's keep switching to a more gyaru-ish style these days :3

When did you discover gyaru?: I'm not exactly sure, actually. My interest was probably sparked growing up watching Sailor Moon and reading the Gals! manga.

Are you gyaru yourself?: I wish. I have a lot of work to do. I really want to buy circle lenses.

If so, what style do you like to dress in?: I sometimes dress in my own variation of a kogyaru. I love Japanese school girl uniforms and loose socks. I'm not sure if this relates to Gyaru, but I'm also a huge fan of Udoli.

Do you have a blog? Please list if yes:

Comments about the thread?: Thank you so much for making this thread, Chanda and bringing the Gyaru lifestyle back to life. We miss you in the LD. It's sad that Gyaru isn't as popular as the other styles in this forum such as Lolita, but hopefully people will catch on.

- styling clay (don't have it here, don't remember the name)
- thin-toothed comb

Thanks n_n

My step-mum suggested I go and take a photo into a hair-dresser and pay them to do my hair and show me step-by-step. xD

Such a good idea.. totally excited to try
