Welcome to Gaia! ::

We all know how everyone says it's impossible to look like a cartoon, but what happens when you actually kind of do? I saw Disney's Hercules the other day, and I noticed that Megara has oddly similar hair to mine, but of course hers can defy physics somewhat easier. So, has anyone else ever had one of those moments? Am I just odd for noticing these things? Discuss, pic drop, chat, do what you will.

For those of you who haven't seen Hercules/don't remember:

O_o.....just realized after I get my hair cut....I'm going to end up kinda looking like her....maybe I won't get bangs after all.
Whenever I put my hair in a faux bob, I get told I look like Snow White. I'm really pale and I have naturally flushed cheeks, so that's probably why. I also look innocent, I've been told. I have no problem with the comparison, actually, because she's my favorite.

My hair did that nigh impossible Ariel bang poof once.
I was so tickled, and I never got it to happen again.

I remember how I tried so hard to get my bangs to poof like Ariel's when I was a kid. Sadly, I could never get it right.

I don't generally classify anime as 'cartoons,' but for this example I will say some cosplayers at Anime Conventions (or maybe just whenever they feel like cosplaying) look a Lot like the original animated counterpart, so I'll have to disagree and say this actually happens quite often. Also, I've seen my fair share of cartoonish amazed/sparkly emotion_kirakira eyes irl
It's more of a computer game character (may full well have a comic or cartoon - don't know) but apparently I look like Bayonetta. Had numerous people tell me this when I have my glasses on, so I had to google it to find out.

Ah yeah, details tend to go out the window when I post later at night. XD And I agree, I've seen high levels of similarity sometimes, but not too often. You must be lucky to see that many look alikes~.

I've been having that same problem! I need to start posting when I'm a little more awake emotion_zzz coz when I don't, stupid things are said sweatdrop
This one time I posted this amazing and perfectly legit 10-line long argument about something in the forums and it got completely ignored because in the first line my tired eyes didn't notice that i put 2011 instead of 2001 gonk
I lean toward a more gothic look when I actually do my hair and makeup, and a guy in a pub stopped me on my way back to my table once and goes, "I'm going to take a wild guess and say you're a big Neil Gaiman fan!" I am, so I was kind of taken aback and replied, "Well... yeah! How did you know?" and he tells me "Because you look just like Death!"

I was kind of taken aback, but I liked the compliment. redface

Lots of people have told me that I remind them of Betty Boop. Her figure & how she has a younger (child-like) face.

Oh gosh, typos will be the end of us all. Especially the ones made late at night. I always proof read, even if it's just a skim read. Sometimes I catch some mistakes here or there that would have gone unnoticed otherwise. emotion_c8
