Swimsuit season! :D

So, the summer has finally started! School has finally ended. My swimsuit came in the mail yesterday on the last day of school for me, so it was pretty great. I am very picky when it comes to swimsuits, though. That's been a problem for a year or two. Seriously, I would literally go to five different stores in the mall and still not find one I like that I can afford. I don't like a bunch of fancy patterns and laces and such, so that makes it harder. But I went on the internet to get a swimsuit this year and it was fabulous. I could find some I can easily afford. I can find styles I want the most. I can find a top I like and a different bottom and have them in matching colors. If I find a swimsuit I like but it's not in a color I want, I can just find the color I want. I eventually chose this really cute bikini in a pretty turqoise color. It came in the mail yesterday and fits perfectly. I'm really white, so I can't usually wear black swimsuits because it makes me look whiter.

So, where are you people getting swimsuits? What kind do you like to wear? What colors?

I get new swimsuits when I wear the crap out of them, because I'm cheap. My current one's not working so well anymore.

I haven't gotten a new one, which is a pain.

I always dread swimsuit season. :/

I can never find a one-piece that is cute, modest and affordable. :/ Hattttttttttte.

And IMO, bikinis and monokinis are sooooo gross.

I got my swim suit a couple months ago when Target started selling them for this year.
I look awkward in a swim suit.

I dunno, I have a pretty generic black one-piece I use for training and lessons.

I'm not really one to go to the beach. I like the pool too much.
I think even if I did go the beach, I'd end up wanting to swim really really badly, so I'd wear the one I have anyway. I dunno, I haven't been to the beach in years. xD

If I had to get one for the beach, it'd still be a sturdy one-piece because I want to go swimming. Maybe in some amazing colour like a turquoise or jade. ;D

Ugh, swimsuit season. I loathe swimsuit shopping. Fortunately, I'm done with mine! Black and gold ftw. Oh, and diagonal lines and shorts are my new best friends.

Mines is black with rainbow polka dots.

I got mine at Bikini Village.
A black halter top, with some polka dots (white) on the neck strap, and thin rainbow lines on the triangular part that covers the boob.
And then some black board shorts, with flower stitching, and a pocket.
I paid $90 in total. :]

i usually get a bikini but this year the one pieces with the sides cut out look totally cute so i'm going to get one of those!
