Pedicures...? Really?

Well, it doesn't look nice if your feet are cracked and calloused and your toenails are out of control but if you take care of them yourself, you don't need to go for a pedicure. It's just a luxury to have someone else do it.

Any mother/woman that says that you MUST or SHOULD do something to your looks is just full of bullcrap. Honestly. It has never, NEVER been a requirement that a woman should have pedicured toes/feet in order to wear sandals or open toed shoes. I'm 20 years old and live in Florida (pretty much known as a place where wearing anything but sandals is strange lol) and I've never had a pedicure before...and nobody notices or even cares about it.
As long as your toenails are trimmed and you don't have corns or stench coming from your feet, nobody cares. Honestly.

I wouldn't wear open toed shoes without having my toenails done.

I've never heard of pedicures being somehow necessary., it might just be your mother's preference.
