It's not AWFUL if you do black, but i would pick another color with more contrast. White, light grey, light tan, or a vibrant color like red or coral would look nice.

Ohhh seeing that dress I instantly thought of maybe a sea foam or greenish-blue colored blazer or cardigan. I think something open would be nice though. Or maybe a belted open sweater. You have so many options. It's such a beautiful dress.

Oh sure! Mint would be a nice pairing, with white and grey accents. Silver jewelry would work nice with that palette.
