When did the cogs of FATE begin to turn?
Perhaps it is impossible to grasp that answer now,

But, for a certainty, back then,
We loved so many, and hated so much.

...There are very few names that scream pastey-faced computer-programmer more than that.

More importantly it reminds me of Algonquin the shape-shifting poodle from Elvira: Mistress of the Dark.

Both of which make it cool.

A little edit: I'm soooo happy I'm almost crying ;_; I asked a wonderful artist if I could use one of his amazing dinosaur paintings as a tattoo. It was a really cute t-rex, but I mentioned to him I loved Brachiosauruses the most, and today I got an email with a picture he had painted of a young Brach and had never uploaded because he wasn't that happy about it. It's freaking perfect!
I wish I could show you guys, but I'd have to upload it and I don't want anyone using it, seeing as I got a comment on my other own tattoo "if i pick the kitty, can i use it?". So I'm really paranoid now :/
But yay anyway!

So I was given this super-gorgeous fabric by a visiting family-friend. It's black satin with like, semi-ghost pinstripes.

It is absolutely perfect for the skirt I've been wanting.

I'm so happy. You guys have no idea. I can't wait for the semester to end(which is, for me, tomorrow!) so that I have time to draft a pattern and make the skirt.

I got my timetable for next years' classes today. Semester one I have creative writing first thing, followed by band and then drama.
Talk about epic. xD Although, they gave me a spare in second semester, but I don't want it. I'll pr'olly replace it with something else.

I made a skirt out of it. Peasant-style with gathered-waist yoke and gathered again at the seam between yoke and skirt. Oh my unspecified gods, but hand-gathering fabric takes forever.

Very pleased with the result though. Very very pleased.
