Ahhh. Okay. Fantastic!
Hahaha, I don't think I could do one of those, I'm afraid of needles...so I wouldn't want to get one that didn't come out the other side of something.
Well, it all depends, I'm going to the health care fair tomorrow, so I'll see the specifics, but right now I'm thinking just the RN, my mother did it and she went and worked in the nursery.
But the college that is holding it has a two-year program for RN's, not sure about the other stuff though.
Also, I've just started to get this weird pain in my tongue about 20 minuets ago, I don't know if it is from my piercing, or the ulcer on the side of my tongue that I got when it was swollen. Something to be worried about? It's almost been two weeks.
I would be VERY WEARY of going to a college that boasts a 2 year RN program.
Are you sure your not thinking of LPN instead?
You can get an LPN in 2 years, But most RN programs are atleast 3-4 years, with a BSN (Which is what you want).
Iv'e seen alot of places boast that they have a 6 week MA course, All online...
Sounds great right?
No..
A: you can't possibly learn everything the AAMA tests you on in 6 weeks.
and B:
Online classes...
"Virtual injections lab"
that won't teach you s**t.
Yeah, it may teach you "Poke the needle HERE"
But you won;t learn anything else.
you need hands on training in the medical field, you can;t just sit in front of a computer and expect to learn.
My community college has a 2 year RN program, with the option of a 2+2 program with U of R (2+2 is 2 years community plus 2 years at a 4 year uni). I'm going to try to get on their waiting list next year. It's a highly demanded program in this area.
Buffalo also has a 2 year school that has an RN program, and they work closely with the hospital that's across the street. That's a private 2-year though, so more $$$.
