I'm so thankful we don't have to deal with needles in my job. Sharpest thing is the clippers [which hurt like bitches ><! ]

I keep hearing how drowning our stuff [which is stainless steel], in alcohol, is sterilizing it to near perfect.
WE ALSO HAVE AN AUTOCLAVE 8D!

I'll be OK with it, until they get to "showcase" the "Butt shot" as we so lovingly call it.
It's not actually IN the butt, but it's hella close.

Also.. MAYBE you guys can get away with that since there is no blood or anything getting on the tools.. but that's still nasty. I hope to GOD your teacher autoclaves everything.

I dunno how different the laws and regulations are from the US to Canada..
And, The fact that I work in a Medical office might make a difference (I don;t see why it would though)

But anything that isn't disposable.. Like tools, or anything for a surgery...
Once it's used, it gets cleaned off with soap and water first, then we throw them in the Ultrasonic, then package them to be autoclaved.

I still don;t see why it would be different.
Your using an instrument on multiple people.
For procedures that involve multiple people's skin, and possibly broken skin and blood.

I don;t see why you woulden't autoclave the tools after every use.

I've seen them called Jokers, too, but I think that for girls Dahlia's is better, and that Jokers would be better for boys.

I will get more retainers as it comes time. It's too early now seeing as they're barely 36 hours old, but I will get new ones, or even plastic ones.
