not that impressive really...

I want a lip ring but I'd have to be out of the house to do it, dad would rip it out...

I want a few tats as well but dad would also freak out over those so I'm waiting until I transfer colleges and I live in dorms to do anything other than what I have now

I used to have my navel pierced for some stupid reason but it got ripped out once so I had it pierced again and then it got ripped out again so I just said screw it and left it alone, I have a huge scar now

My mom wouldn't care as much as my dad but he's EXTREMELY old fashioned with stuff like that...kinda has a sexist view to it, he believes only males should have tattoos (he has one) because he thinks women look easy with them or something like that...

But he's one of those my way or no way kind of people so he would probably disown me if I did it while living under his roof

You can take cloths off, or wear your hair down. Tattoos are perminant and 30% of the people who get them at a young age regret them later.

So anyone who has regrets won't real spiritual transcendence? Hmmm well pretty much 100% of the population regrest one thing or another. Looks like no one gets to that happy spiritual plain. Tattoos can be very spiritual. Being close-minded and judgemental isn't very spiritual at all. *wink wink*

I have a few tattoos because it is ******** addicting! I am gonna get a cover-up soon of Spider_man on my left bicep. I accidently got my ex-g/f on my arm in a drunken stupor. Now I have to pay 500 buckos minus the tip to cover that bad boy up.

The OP's piercings are beautiful. <3 I love, love, love piercings (sadly, I'm currently at an age where the only piercings I can get are on my ear lobes... piercings are pretty much the first thing on my list when I turn 16! biggrin ). I'm not so keen on tattoos; they get ugly over time, and I'm sure that seeing the same image over and over again just loses it's impact.

My parents don't really care now. they realize there are much worse thing i could be doing than Body modification. They may not LIKE the fact that im doing it, but im 18, and can make desicions for myself.
