I only use Bodyshop's schampoo... *is ridiculously sensitive*
And i looove their eyeshadows, the 4 in 1 boxes are divine ^^

i know this isn't really makeup, but has anyone used asian products like BB creams? what was your conclusion? did it help at brightening your skintone & even it?

BB cream IS definitely makeup since it acts LIKE a foundation + skin enhancer.
I've tried it out before and I have to say, it's one of the best, lightweight, cream I've ever used in my life. Not only does it brighten your skintone, but it evens your skin, while giving you a nice, healthy looking glow that doesn't make you look oily.
I've tried the Missha BB Cream in 27, Honey Beige and I mix it with a foundation I don't really like (Covergirl 455 Honey Beige) and it makes my skin look more.. enhanced.
I'm thinking of using Smashbox's BB creams now, but either way, I think BB creams are great, but they're not meant to be only foundations. They're more so skin enhancers that even skin tone over time & merely gives skin an extra boost (from the SPF).

So I made a really bold move yesterday and threw out a lot of my makeup that I either barely use, or don't find essential anymore.
I'm also giving away brushes / palettes / mascaras / blushes to my friends.

Just thought I'd update you guys on that for some reason.
I now only have my MAC face products, MUFE products, and a few brushes.
Hopefully, I'll own Sigma brushes so I could even throw those out.

Yeah, haha. I mean, sure, I cleaned my brushes all the time to prevent break outs & all that jaazz, but it's gotten to the point where it's so tedious with my busy schedule.
So I just kept what I needed for everyday. I do need stage makeup though, but I can always borrow that from my fellow actresses <3

Did anyone try out the E.L.F. Tinted Moisturizers?

They've done well for me within the past year. It evened out my skin tone enough for me with a damp sponge so that I could apply a thin layer of powder over it, but it does not conceal any blemishes or dark spots, which is what a moisturizer is supposed to do anyway. I would say the wear on it by itself would be about 2 hours though, because my skin (combo skin btw) got oily so much after just a little it of time being out. All together, it's pretty damn good for being only $3. It's worth a try!

Because I've tried the ELF one (it's great)
The MAC one is $30, but i use it sparringly and every week atleast and I still haven't reached halfway (i've had it since November, it's now April). You seriously just need a little dot and you're good to go for atleast 4-5 hours without powder. It's amazing!
The tarte one (smooth operator, i think) is around the same price, and it goes on with medium coverage, but it broke me out ): It also might have been the sanitation on my brush but after two uses, I stopped because I had breakouts on the side of my face. I hear from so many others that it's great though!
The next one I would recommend that's high end is Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer since the color selection is HUGE! But it's almost $40, and good for more dry skin since the texture is a little thicker and can give a glow that may be mistaken for greasiness if you have combo skin.

Hmm.. covergirls smoothers is a good tinted moisturizer-ish as well for less than $10 at the drugstore, it's a step up from ELF's, with medium coverage as well.
Umm.. the nars/smashbox ones are too expensive and not worth my time. So! There you go, I hope that helped.

In all, I recommend MAC's $30 investment to any other tinted moisturizer. It's seriously the BEST i've ever tried and I've tried a few.

I want to try Smashbox BB Cream <3 Haha! I love foundations! They're my favorite cosmetic item. So are matte blushes.
