I don't have a yukata or kimono. I'd feel silly wearing the full garb. ^^;
I do have two silk haori, though. One is transparent, dark purple with woven maple leaves in the material. The other is a mottled gold with sake bottles of different sizes.

3nodding ah! I LOVE Japanese fashion right now. I'm slowly changing my wardrobe to really fun J-fashion inspired stuff. I'm also making some skirts and accessories for myself. Right now I have a Kigurumi, a couple of sweet and gothic lolita outfits, and I want to have some funky fruits kinda outfits. I really love the looks in Alice Deco. OMG I am in love with that magazine. I love those clothes and those shoes are amazing. I wish I could afford to buy that stuff.

Anna Sui is one of my favorite designers. I was excited to see her mentioned in there.

good luck with your new wardrobe my Fiancee and I are doing the same thing and all I have is a kimono and some cosplay. my fiancee is going to get some J-fashion outfits too just like me lol. I cant wait.

Whoot. I might be going to Japan in three weeks depending on what my doctor gives me the OK. I wanna drop 10 pounds before getting there though. Asian sizes are tiny compared to American ones. I still have these Japanese jeans that I have from Middle School. I've never worn them. :( Damn Shibuya and they're discrimination against butt.
