okay i know that people who like japanese things are typically into cute japanese girls.

anyone mind posting pictures of japanese girls with neat haircuts (asap? xd )

i'm going to get my haircut at a ******** expensive a** place tomorrow and i'm probably going to tell the stylist to do whatever the hell he wants, but i want SOME basis.

+1 if they have square jawlines and full faces. (not typically japanese but wutever. post other asian girls if you wish. )

I second that. I always go to Rasysa before hitting up a salon.

I have some breaking news to tell everyone!
Ganguro is not dead!(sadly, I hated it very much)
My Mom's boyfriend(Cory)Went too Japan last year and while walking around aimlessly,he saw one!!
(When he told me i died)
I hope Ganguro just dies and gets on with it^^.

Ganguro is dead, but there were other styles that sprouted from it.

The extreme styles are a dying breed, regardless. They're pretty much out of style except for those who are involved in a Gyaru-circle, but even then this time around it's much more toned down.

Hmm, why do they make it so extreme anyway? Do we even know?

I would think it's because they like it.

I mean I like it and find it fabulous (even though I don't do it). Perhaps you could find a manba and ask her yourself??

I think I will. I do want to go to japan one day, but I have to learn the language better, first.

What do you like about it?

I don't really have anything against it, some of it scares me. But I use to be scared of Marilyn Manson when I was a kid and I got over that and have come to accept him. 3nodding

lol Understandable. I know a lot of people who think it's scary.

I don't know what it is that I like about manba. I just like really extreme things like that. I like how it turns out on people who REALLY know how to do it.

Ohh. Okay ^^ Understandable. And you're the one who hosts the thread with the um..

Dang I forgot the name D: I just know it has animal pajamas.

No, that's. . .goodness I forgot her name. . .Noxin I think.

I don't even own a kigurumi. Though . . .I wish I did when I was still doing manba. . .maybe I should get one just because.

Oh sorry for the confusion. I am new to this part of the forum D:

They look really comfy but hot. ^^ And I think it would be cute if you were doing Manba and wearing a kigurumi.

I heard they were out but c'mon! They're so cute, I think I'm gonna have to ignore it! XD

The whole point of a lot of alternative fashions like Gyaru and Lolita is to somewhat go against society's standards of how a person should be. Manba didn't have to be cute to other Gyaru in particular, I think what really made the extreme styles attractive is the work put into the look, and maybe the WTF factor as well. While Manba and other extreme styles have a certain way of doing, a lot of the popular (ex) Gyaru circle members had sort of a 'signature' look.

Regardless of if their intentions were to scare people or something, I would understand what seems to be a "don't-give-a-s**t" attitude towards society. Gyaru are constantly discriminated against, even today, even if they dress regular gyaru.
