You really do have to feel comfortable with yourself to be able to dress as you like. Otherwise you'll always be self conscious in public. That's why I can't work at places with ugly uniforms, haha. It makes me feel awkward. sweatdrop

Sadly, I recently got 'let go' after the Holiday rush ended... So I'm trying to find a new job. Build-a-bear may hire me, but I can't stand the uniform (denim blouses, white sneakers and tan khaki pants?... ew). I'll probably take a job at claire's or limited*too.

i always get my brother to send me accessories from back home.
i have a ton of authentic clothing.

but whenever i have a show to do, i usually have to piece together my own outfits. but, sadly, i`m not very good at sewing; for now i am learning from a fellow band member.

That is the best way to learn I must say. I learned in school and didn't catch on to well but just recently picked it up again, teaching myself. I bought a whole s**t load of books, my mom gave me her sewing machine and yeah.

Have any of you seen people on the streets somewhere other than Asia, in these fashions? I haven't crying

Around here anime is quite popular, and I've actually seen a lolita dressed up at the mall. Her and I are good friends. She was wearing a bodyline skirt and blouse, and looked really nice, unlike most bodyline crap.

Then I saw another girl about 6 months ago dressed in... -gag- antique white and black Dx; I almost died but she was wearing a BABY dress. I felt so weird touching it.
