i have brown hair and pictures in my signature and profile. i want to dye my hair a reddish color.

what hair coloring kit would last the longest? im getting a professional to do it or at least someone who knows alot about dying hair, would this be a good choice for me? i really like this color and i hate the hair i have now. it is to plain and old.
