K, I fail at fashion. D8 I'm going to my brother's wedding at the end of April. Is this dress alright?

It depends. Does the bride mind people wearing red to her wedding. It can be taboo to some people. Otherwise it looks fine, not really fancy, so if that fits the wedding you'd be good to go.
I don't get the whole 'red is taboo' thing. I have not met a bride in years who has heard of, let alone taken offense to this.

I think it looks quite lovely on you and should be fine for a wedding.
Ask whether the theme of the wedding includes red or not. It'd be bad to stand out in a crowd wearing red if everyone else was wearing something else emotion_yatta But if there's no theme or if the theme does include red, then go fot it c:

Red should be fine.
For colors that are questionable.
No white, or black.

Other questions to ask..
Are you accessorizing the dress?
What shoes are you wearing?
Clutch?? Purse????
How do you plan to do your hair?

I haven't decided on anything else yet. I just got the dress today. Probably going to talk to my sister about the rest. c:
The dress looks fine. If you're really unsure, ask your brother or his bride?

If the bride doesn't care about red- go for it. biggrin
Go for it.
As far as red goes, it's a very quiet dress.
it's simple and nice!
go for it. wear broach or bracelet/accesories so that it wont look 'boring' .. 3nodding

Personally is too casual for me, I would say you need to add something ot make it more wedding appropriate.
Once accessorized and with a great pair of shoes, I think it'll be great.

My only rules I ever have for dressing for weddings is not wear the color scheme of the wedding (so you don't blend in with the bridal party) and less than 25% black or white, so that the bride and groom stand out.

Reminds me, I have dress shopping I need to do for a wedding!

It's simple and it suits you.
I would wear some accessories with it though. Like a brooch, or a simple necklace, and definitely some nice earrings.

Frankly, I think a short cropped bolero would look lovely with that dress too.
