I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. UGH.
I have SUCH a nice dress and I wear it and my boobs are practically falling out of it, but if I go up a size it's baggy everywhere. gonk

IKR?! Now...I maynot be as big a sother women wit big boobs but I wear a 40 D and all these cute dresses make my breasts look like they're flopping out....so I have to buy a bigger size and tailor it to make it fit at the wait, if I want it to flair, god, its a 24 hour process

I always avoid those dresses as much as possible. It gets me upset because it feels like most if not all dresses are tailored to people with smaller boobs or simply less coverage. I really was upset when buying dresses for prom, my marching band banquet, and graduation party. x.x The longest most scrutinizing thing to do in my whole life. I just hated it mainly because it took me around the city looking at all these shops to find a dress that actually worked for me.

In the end, I found dresses that stretchy? (I don't know how to explain, but the main part of the dress is made with elastic I think that allows it to stretch when putting it on but fits perfectly around) I found two red ones that fit just right due to that stretchy type feel. Along with that is I find that ones that are more corset style (mainly ones that have no straps) seem to fit well and provide that coverage. No, they aren't the ones with the belt cinching around the waist. I'm talking about a full on sort of corset style with the zipper or stings along the back which usually has a flowy or big puff bottom of the dress. Otherwise the last style that seems to always work is the halter top. Just the style of the top kinda does show cleavage but at the same time provides the necessary coverage.

Though reading the comments, sewing does sound like a good idea. I'll think about that one for later dress shopping (if I ever go dress shopping again that is).
I wish I had some boobs. donate them

Your problem is solved with tailoring or belts.
It could be worse!

At least you don't look like me! C:

You should probably invest in good quality garments to get proper coverage and comfort and support. My girlfriend would need to get her clothes tailored too what with being boobielicious but otherwise rather petite. Sadly she doesn't quite like her breasts so she'd rather hide them in clothes much too large than let me tailor her shirts.

You can always learn to modify dresses, it's usually easy once you know what to do.

Fit the boobs, then add a few darts to the inside of a dress in the waist and hip area to make them fit better, and you're set.

You can also pay professionals to do this, but that's expensive. Learning to do it yourself is much cheaper, and more rewarding.
I was thinking the exact same thing.
I feel you. gonk

You have my sympathies - I'm in the same position. =(

I usually end up sticking to dresses made out of slightly stretch fabric, but that limits me to body-con dresses, mostly, unless I get really lucky. I had this issue with my prom dress, and the dress I wore for my cousin's wedding. And it's gonna continue.

There are catalogues and such here that do accommodate ... but most of the clothes I've seen in them are really ugly. gonk

Try wearing a bolero, or a cardigan to cover up those puppies! c;
