My homecoming dance will be on Friday November 6, anyway this years theme is Hollywood, I have no idea what to wear or how to style my hair to fit the occasion.

any suggestions and pictures would be nice.

This pretty much captures the vintage-y Hollywood men's fashion.
You could manage the hair if you wanted to.

For the dress...black dress shoes, black suit pants (that FIT you, please please pleeeasseee), dress socks and a white collared button down shirt would work. You could add the white vest underneath if you'd like.

If you want a more modern Hollywood look...seriously.
Just look at high-rolling red-carpet folk.
IE: Brad Pitt.
It's generally the same attire, with slightly different lines to it.
The hair is more relaxed, though it is still styled.

Well, not everyone does.
I hate seeing guys dressed in nice suits, but the pants are too long or a bit too baggy. Always looks sloppy.
(If I recall, the tradition is that pant hems fall at the middle of the front of the shoe when standing.)
I'd look it up though.
