I know for sure I'm going to be adding a darker starry sky to the top of my shoulder. I'm going to do the stars with UV ink, as well as the glowing lanterns and some highlights on the Torii gate. So when I walk into a club or something with black light I'll glow. xd

Definatly. Just saying, making your elbow area into a shore line would help draw everything in, so you could if you wanted to, do her in the water.
I like this one...because of the lotus, and you could easily use the white orb marks to put some falling sakura petals maybe.

I think if you did no mouth with that same image (and not changing the eyes) it would look creepier...it's a blank expression as is...but with no mouth it goes into a depth on blankness thats just...skin crawling XD

I'm on the fence on whether or not to get Hell Girl herself on the underside of my arm, since that's still plain. I might get the flame symbol on the outside of my wrist way on the bottom, but that's still in the works.

When I first saw your tattoo the other day, I thought about how it looked really meaningful and pretty. Having not played Hell Girl, I though first of Hiroshima and stuff. Well, maybe that would make you more want to change it, but, I dunno.. I feel like keeping it open to interpretation and different meanings might be better than for sure connecting it to the game. Just my thoughts. *shrug*

That's why I'm still on the fence. It would be on the underside of my arm anyway, not some place people would see all the time. And even then she's not all that recognizable, she's kind of generic anime-girl style, not like I'm putting Naruto or something on my arm, someone who's instantly recognizable.
