Welcome to Gaia! ::

fashion forward
pacific mall has a lot of lolita stores. you could also try kensington market & china town? they're in downtown just to let you know.

I've been to Toronto for summer vacation, and usually go there, but I never see them.
Have they had the Lolita clothes there for a while?
Man I know how you feel! I am so tempted to move to Japan because like they have it there! I really wish Angelic Pretty and Metamorphose stores would just open up in Toronto crying especially Angelic Pretty the lolita stuff they have makes me wish I was born in Japan *sigh*

Hey darlin, go to anime north this may, they sell lolita by the loads. ^w^
personal thoughts:

don't buy from a convention. OVER PRICED.. thats all i got to say bout that...

pac mall,china town centre, kensington market, and all asian stores are selling from hong kong or north china made clothes, yes often made with cheaper material, but as long as you have no intention of wearing it in the winter it's all good.

that also applies to bodyline, i think its a decent line, though materials are not nearly as nice as btssb not everyone can afford to drop 200-300 on a jumper skirt. just remember you get what u pay for.also i know alot of the people that are interested keep geti

EBAY- sometimes some sweet deals can be found, kijiji.ca too, look into forums more for Lolita alot of people come in and out of liking lolita, so it's easy to find discount clothing

FINALLY

i am starting my own brand officially the catalog will be out july, but i also take commissions i can make nething, including accessories. I have two levels of design one for lolita on a budget and one for higher quality made items with more expensive fabrics. ALL SIZES!!!

also no shipping needed if you live in toronto or the gta, i can always arrange a meet up!!!

Not lolita; either of them. On top of being a colossal and conceited b***h who ruins others' fashion shows, La Carmina is also probably the most virulent and notorious resource of absolutely incorrect information out there. This is all on top of the fact that the photos from events that she claims to have gone to [most of which she's not even in the same region, much less state or city of] are almost always stolen from other sources.

http://www.cosmates.jp/ You can get their goods cheaper through direct sales or a shopping service; they overcharge on Bodyline and Putomayo goods like nobody's business

Most of the links you provided are great, but I've crossed out a few and listed the reasons why I did so. Bodyline's improved a lot, but buying from them directly is far cheaper and far more efficient than buying through Cosmates, who more than double the costs of the goods in order to make a profit.

For other sites, try here: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=11583735

It has a comprehensive guide about which sites ship overseas, Chinese dealers, and where to find different brands.
i went to Kensington market yesterday, there is a shop run by a nice lady, called twy lite (4 Kensington ~ closer to dundas) , they have some really nice stuff, don't get me wrong they do carry a lot of the cheaper material stuff but there was some really nice material stuff too, their prices are much cheaper than queen street and can be negotiated like anything in china town.

a definite recommend, they also have a lot of japanese punk items and petticoats in every colour of the rainbow.
^ Agreed. I stumbled upon Twy Lite when walking around Kensington Market not too long ago. They carry quite a number of lolit-type clothes.

Pacific Mall is ridiculously overpriced since it's a tourist attraction. Ah, and the parking lot is a hell hole. If at all possible, avoid it. (I would know, I live in the area.)

As a side note: How did this thread get revived? .____.;;
Internet. The Lolita shop in Pacific mall closed down a couple months ago. x___x

one more,

i recently bought a purse and boots off ebay and the seller sent me their official site, everything is free shipping so prices for boots and shoes, are a great deal! they have a good variety of lolita and punk shoes and boots:

I've noticed quite a few Lolita things being sold here in the past few years.
