Welcome to Gaia! ::

I'm in quebec And I've been looking everywhere for lolita shops... xD All I know is d-tox and it's more like emo, punk and gothic...there might be some clothes you can fit together and change a bit but...anyone know a site where I can buy clothes online? I toootally don't mind! I just want lolita clothes, even if I need to buy online!

Lolitas are so cool :3 whee
Actually I know one but.. it's japanese. I can read tho ^^ But I can't buy -.- I guess it's, once again, because I live in canada/quebec.

UUGHHH stressed
I've seen a lot of lolita-type clothing in Pacific Mall lately. There's also a small shop that sells cosplay outfits/stuff there.

And... this may seem random, but I've noticed a lot of Torontonians in the F&S. Are there really that many of us here? oO;; heart
No. Most of the stuff you'll find will be shitty quality.
Your best bet would be to order online.

I'd definitely order online. While the sizes might be sketchy, you're more guaranteed to actually find stuff than in a store, and chances are, if you order from the right places, the quality would be pretty good.
But since you're looking for a more once-in-a-while lolita style, maybe a little more subdued, the quality might not matter to you. So long as it looks good :]

XD I didn't know there were that many Canadians on Gaia! D:
<333
It feels good not to be alone.
But I are from teh Vancouver Island. And I've been all over this city. Sadly, there is no trace of anything even remotely Lolita or anything cool like that.
Or maybe I missed something. XP
But does anyone know a site? whee I found this one ; http://www.maxicimam.com/_ma/skirt.html
(skirt page, I love them xD) But we can't even order if we are in another country than japan.
Well, we can't YET blaugh
I would say second hand stores.
I remeber one I went into I found this adorable lacke bracelet for like 25cents!
:'D

And i'd figure that there'd be some good second hand stores downtown toronto.
Pacific mall (as many people mentioned) is your best bet. It's in scarbourough/new market (i think?).
What's a pacific malllll :O Is it like one of those crappy small mall you have in a small crappy town like where I live? Or like those uber huge malls with like one hundred stairs? whee
hey by the way, I just found out this online shop...I'm about to buy one of the complete sets :3 it's so cute! I love their clothes ^^ But they are in japan so it cost a higher price than usual. For example I'm going to command a 40$ setand in total it'll cost me 60.

So just if you don't mind paying more and you are desperate like me, here's the site xDD

http://www.bodyline.co.jp/

Oh wait! Are you a girl? Because the clothes are only for girl xp
becareful what you buy from Bodyline.

Please don't ever buy bodyline.
Ever.

--Pacific Mall is a moderately large mall featuring mostly Chinese/South Korean/Japanese stores.

I'm pretty sure I saw a lolita-esque shop in Dragon City center on Spadina. I think. D:,
CHINATOWN.
thrift shops.
and learn how to tailor and add lace to your own clothing.

or big fashion warehouses.
they usually sell really mod/chic clothing that has a lot of frills and laces for really cheap.

all in all; oriental malls and stores usually sell some sort of lolita-esque fashion.

Thrift stores and alter clothing?
We need more lolita-type shops
in canada :

Well, there's really Thrift shops wherever you go, even if that's your best bet. I'll probably try out Pacific Mall though, since it's been suggested a lot. Scarborough has a mainly Asian population, or at least a really large one, so I guess that makes it all the more likely to find Japanese shops there.

What's wrong with Bodyline? Just want to know. Obviously their not trustworthy from your reactions, but I've never bought from them before.

Baby is opening an English site soon, and they started shipping overseas a few monthes ago, Akiko. heart If you want to order online they're probably the best, at least from what I've heard...
