People take music too seriously. Its not always about saying something super deep.

Rap as a genre has the most inner haters. If they don't relate to the song or its not they're preference it "sucks."

On that note... HYPE BEASTS WE KNOW BOUTCHA, DONT BUY SHOES UNLESS DEY POPLAH
You've obviously never met a metalhead, or a scene kid, or etc.

Plus, it's not about "always saying something super deep," it's more about "not sounding like you just learned how to rhyme two words together five minutes ago on a beat that sounds like somebody went and bought a Casio keyboard on a whim, without knowing how to play."

Don't get me wrong before you make sure of that. I agree this goes on in EVERY genre and HAVE seen it happen many times.

You can't bash my personal opinion that rap gets it maybe a tad more due to the large divide between African Americans in general, same way I shouldn't hate someone for their opinion.

My point is just because a song's topic is not serious or the scheme seems 'simple' doesn't necessarily make it a bad song.

Even Dr. Seuss had hidden gems.
Good and bad are always subjective. @Doc Dee

Talent isn't, necessarily.
It's crazy how this is the song they choose to play on the radio all day.
