Last time I posted here it was my Top Five Hip-hop Albums of 2011, and No Goblin wasn't one of them, if you believe it was, I'd love to argue your a** to the floor sometime.

But I Digress:Odd Future. They're not terrible. Some of their s**t is ******** genius, some of their s**t is ******** weak. Sometimes they come off as Posers, but maybe that's because the majority of their fan-base happen to be White, Snapback wearing morons who all of a sudden know everything there is to know about Hip-hop, because they know the words to ******** Yonkers. I don't know, maybe I just don't like the idea of OFWGKTA being the future of Hip-hop because of the morons they inspire to listen to them. They're not the greatest Lyricists, Producers or even the most stylish ******** out today, but they do it with a strong enough "******** tha System; Swag dat s**t out, n***a" Attitude that they seem to be able to get away with their s**t. Yeah, they aren't afraid to do their thing, but that doesn't mean that everyone has to automatically LOVE what they do, which is something I have to constantly explain to Diehard fans who don't listen any other kind of s**t except for Lil Wayne or Nicki ******** Minaj.

I need a response to this, I'm not hating, but I'd like someone to share their opinion, before the waves of Tumblr-ing diehards Cut me open and ******** my insides or something.

By the way, EARL is the most Talented new Lyricist since Eminem, and is easily the best Rapper of the group.

As for your comments, you're correct. They aren't doing anything completely new, they're not the best lyricists, or producers, but they have their own style and they're sticking with it which is refreshing in a world full of rappers turned pop artists.

Earl is great. Mike G is also one member a lot of people are sleeping on, he's got some great lyrics.

I don't know man, there's a tonne of better production by artists not Only better known than OF but also lesser known. Not to rip on them for their s**t, it isn't terrible, but it really isn't anything knew, and nothing I haven't heard before (Yes, there are some, if not quite a few exceptions). I just don't like people who believe they're the first to ever push the Boundaries of Hip-hop in the 21st Century to a darker place, in terms of both Production and Lyrical Content/flow.

Earl is just a natural, you can't learn to string words like that together, I take it back about him the greatest lyricist since Eminem, but he is probably one of the most Articulate, Mulch-syllabic Rappers, and jesus, he's only a couple of months older than me.

If you listen to the actual production it's really not dark at all but rather mellow. That's what we in the business like to call a jux-ta-po-si-tion mrgreen lol. But yeah mulch-syllabic rappers are always interesting, there like lyrical surgeons. True Eminem is better.

As for myself and listening to OFWGKTA, I cannot quite judge since I have only heard works from three members of the whole collective, if I remember correctly. And, aside from a couple of Tyler's pieces that was played more than I cared to hear it, I have no problem with what they put out.
