This is a freestyle thread on a positve tip. A place where creative minds can collaborate and be appreciated for their lyrical depth. A place where creative lyricism falls on appreciative ears . But first, let's lay down some rules.

The Rules:
1. No plagerism
2. No swear words. True lyricists can feel me on this.
3. No hatin/dissin on other Emcees. Only constructive critiques.
4. No battles. This isn't a battle thread.
5. No raps about guns and Gangsta style, it's played out.
6. Props are allowed, but no dickriding


Freestyle Specifics:
1. All textstyles should have atleast one bar (4lines) flowing off the previous textstyle posted.
2. Minimum posts of 1bar / Maximum 10bars
3. If you want to comment, do it AFTER your 1bar. We have to keep the cypher flowing.

its a cycle of violence, that's the way it goes
sending more troops over seas, to raise the death toll
dehumanizing the American public, claiming their the enemy
when we should have looked above it, even while our president plays a role
with selfish intentions that's how it always goes
next thing you know the button pressed, nuclear warhead armed!? Can you guess what's next?

all the while brothers chasing a dream, veins infected on making green
while mothers cry at night haunted by ghetto dreams
i guess its so hard to deal with the struggling
even though we grasp on to those precious things, smiles of children can melt anything
maybe we need to take a moment to sing? heal the world or recite words from Martin Luther king
attitudes need to change from acting so callous, cause tomorrow will bring nothing but greed and malice
we need to clean up this mess like our name was Alice, before we can take a sip from that sacred chalice...
