What is your feeling on Frank Ocean coming out? Do you think he handled it wel? What about how other musicians reacted? And the press?

I don't have any significant feelings on it. He handled it as well as I'd imagine someone handling it. Musicians acted as expected, most with support and a few with disapproval. The press loves gay people.

I agree. i find homosexuality is often all hush hush in the urban music community. It's weird. But I like the fact that a lot of people *did* accept it. some of the negative comments were disturbing too. Same with the supporting of the ******** Dynasty guy. Ugh.

I think the Duck Dynasty guy is entitled to his own opinion but on your average tv network you can't say stuff like that. Say it when the cameras are away so it doesn't end up getting criticized.

The whole Duck Dynasty thing isn't about "free speech," it's about a company not wanting to be associated with the comments made by one of its contractors.

Say (almost) anything you want without fear of legal ramifications, but don't expect there to not be social ramifications.

This is a huge problem, there's nothing R&B about ANY of the so-called "R&B" artists out lately, it's basically shorthand for "black pop" or whatever.
