Welcome to Gaia! ::

I continue playing iro( taking break from time to time) because it is one of my first online game. There will always be a special spot for the game. Nevertheless, the graphic is 2D and it's not too realistic as any other 3D. I love it. I go to those 3D games sometimes, and after awhile i get bored. I suppose i get use to the community. and Woe is good, when you are with friends. The excitements you get of 2 hours of the constant rush to win a castle is nice smile
Gaia avatar and RO graphics almost look the same. Did you guys notice it? xD
i love the character designs, they're so cute!
all the classes are awesome too, and there are always quests to do.
if i get temporarily bored with a certain job then i just try another one.
it's fun stuff biggrin

iRO was the first MMORPG I've ever played xD so I'll always have a soft spot for it.
I've played other MMO's that people claim are better, but they all seem to fail at
keeping my attention:3

It's all really about just preference, and I'm not sure why:3 but I just adore Ragnarok Online.
Could be the cute graphics, the people, the familiarity of it, or the fact I tend to get really caught up in the storyline xD.

i Had no idea Ro had a story.
i don't play anymore but when i did one of the biggest reasons that i played ragnarok was because of the players. the players on this game were one of the nicest and social players that i've found on any game, not saying that there aren't any on any other game. Also it was fun to just sit there and chat.

payon cave ftw! went there fairly recently and it's sad to see that there are hardly anyone there anymore =(
Payon really isn't a very good place to level anymore; that's probably why. If you go there on Valkyrie you'll find plenty of people just messing around. smile
i think ragnaroks cool but sometime stupid... stare
Mostly for playing with my friends but switching headgears is generally fun as is being shiny :3

Alright, I started to play Ragnarok a few months ago, I got used to the movements and text commands, made some friends, and killed some stuff, but I still cannot find any reason to continue playing this game. I can't find anything attractive about anything about this game, except for a few NPCs! and I wonder still why you'd pay for it.

So, why do you play Ragnarok instead of a game with better graphics, skills, and value?

P.S, I'm not trying to bash Ragnarok, I just want to hear why so many people really enjoy some MMOs that I think are extraordinarily bad.

I recently stopped playing iRO because the game for me has ended.
The only reason RO kept pulling me back in the past was the people. It was never the game content...it was only the people I play with. Without the people, I don't think there is anything worth playing.

*cough* I moved onto WoW XD
woe , pvp , and the RO community of course 3nodding
Because I secretly hate myself sad

Oh and I like leveling /freak.

I got right there and stopped. This invalidates any arguements you may or may not have against iRO--eye candy does not a good game make. =/

I still play iRO because, more so than just about any other MMORPG I've ever played (R.O.S.E. Online doesn't count, as it is another Gravity title), I can customize my characters' builds directly; I control their skills, their stats, and their equipment to such a degree that it's highly unlikely that any of my chars will be exactly the same as someone else's, nor will I lack for a party to fit into when I so choose. I like the community, as even top-tier players with all their slots filled with glowy trans chars wearing God equips will talk to the lowest Novices and help them along. I like the PVP system, WoE and WoE2, and the variety of dungeons and leveling fields. And most of all, I like the fact that playing iRO actually feels like a game and not a chore.

I was going to say somthing like this, but it seems you beat me to it,

the thing that makes ragnarok differnt from most MMO's the amount to customization that goes into it, maybe not so much physically, but in terms of stats and what not, theres always somthing to be learned.

you know, with a lot of hyper realistic mmorpg these days, just like RYL, Lineage II, etc. RO are much uglier than those games.

But I STILL playin' RO!

Cause' there's somethin' that differ RO from another games,
when you play that kinda hyper realistic games. What do you do? just do quest and fight monster, isn't it? I bet, it's an uncommon thing in that games to see a lot of people just sitting together talking and chatting.
But in RO, you can find that "atmosphere" in every town, prontera, izlude, moroc, payon, and etc.

That's what differ RO from another games!

GO RO!
