41/30. I bought a Damascus, which adds a decent amount of damage compared to the Stiletto.

By the way, can anyone suggest a decent place to train for a Perfect Dodge/Critical Thief? My stats are currently 40+2 STR, 35+1 AGI, 12+1 VIT and 20+2 DEX. Zeny for healing items isn't a big issue (I can get around 20k in half-an-hour or so) but I can't go and buy tons of white potions and such.

Make an endow Sage if you haven't already. I realize it takes time to make one (although I did it in a day razz ) but it will help you level your Knight twice as fast.

Anyway. Metalings probably wouldn't be the greatest exp but they're good drops. With an endow you could do Orc Ladies, or you could go to Byalan 4 and try to get lucky with cards. In a few more levels you could probably start to kill High Orcs with an endow as well.

All I have is a Cutter, and a Jacket, and a Guard.
And I'm planning to be a double dagger Sin.

Anyone know where to level?

And also, anyone know what level I should go and kill Geos?
My archer is 29ish and I went off to kill them, and I just kept missing them.

I'd definitely suggest investing in a better weapon, it'll make things much easier.

You could kill Poporings on Poring Island (Two south, one east of Prontera) or you could try Payon Cave. Then when you get a bit higher go for wolves, 2 south of Payon.

You may need potions, but you can always make a new character, go through the training grounds up until you have 400 Novice Potions (50 from the black-smith girl, 350 first time you go to the battle field, and another 50 if you go back to the field after you die or use a bwing) then go back to the Kafra in the main room and get her to warp you to a town! This also gives you a free warp ticket and some free storage tickets too~ Just be sure you're job level 7 by the time you leave or else you won't be able to use storage. (Note you can get one job level if you get the Kafra to explain Kafra Storage to you before you warp)

As far as the archer thing goes, I'm not sure what level you should be, just whenever you have enough dex, be sure to have max Owl's Eye, and Improve Concentration helps too when you get it. You need 142 hit to hit it 100%, but of course you don't need 100% hit in order to start killing them~ But still, keep the number in mind in order to gauge if you can take them yet or not.
You could always use this, put in your stats, equipment, and some skills, and you can get all kinds of information about how well you do against different monsters. Of course actually trying always gives a better idea than numbers like this, but it'll at least give you a % hit chance.

Thanks so much for all this info. This is really going to help.
I never knew about getting all those items without having to kill myself. That's really smart. I'll do that later. I have this other character I'm planning to make into a Merchant who will eventually be an Alchemist. You know, in a REALLLY long time from now. I just wanted to make him now because of the EXP even since I hate being in the novice area.

I wasn't sure about my stats but I gave it some estimates. Yeah, I'm FAR from ready.

And I think for now, I'm gonna go and kill Poporings, since the Payon Caves are filled with DB monsters.

Made the Mage, used Bill of Birds to get to 31, got Fire Wall 10 and whatever level of Fire Bolt I could, went to Louyang, kill Mi Gaos until job 40 (sometimes partying with Acos), changed to Sage, got annoyed with my Fire Walls disappearing in LY, went to the Argiope map to get my Endows to 5. smile
