I'm sure people are tired of seeing my screens by now, but someone has to bump this topic!
 So I made a Zealotus Mask... The quest is so pervy. You essentially have to pull an "adventurer's eye for the sadomasochist guy" sort of thing... The Zealotus is upset because her Phendark boyfriend is too submissive, so you have to grab a whip and beat him up, then force feed him dark crystal fragments and trash talk him until he gets filled with enough murderous rage to make the Zealotus love him again. n_n  Hurhurrr, I GET IT. : D In other news, I love you, Chain Crush Combo level 10. Imagine how lovely you will be when I have 120 Str... Plz 2b not pointing out that G-Fist and Occult are so much better. *cough*  |

Tomorrow I am leveling my future monk! heart UNRELATED, this is my current leveling party (back during the Niff event, because I never take screenies anymore lol).  BHP, battle smith, battle chem. OOH YEAH. I didn't get a screenie (was trying to stop clashing from raping our faces), but me and the chem recently killed OH. He got MVP (b*****d). |

Yay, the world needs more Combo Monks/Champs. I don't think people realize how much fun they are. They can level anywhere and use up very few resources. Mine is my favorite solo character, hands down. Feel free to pick my brain for leveling spots or anything else combo Monk related. xD
MVPing OH with that setup must have been awesome to see. n_n And I wish I had a battle Smith to level with, since I usually end up using maces just because knuckles have those stupid size penalties, pfft. But it looks like AR doesn't like your blue HP clothes, boo! |

Hey maybe you should come with us in our mace party sometime xD We all just beat crap to death usually. We're 85-95 range atm (I am dragging the party down with my low level! lol). Once I get my gear together, we want to try Nameless << >> /gg I figured a combo monk would be of a similar flavor to a BP, only more offensive oriented than defensive (IE BPs have no active damage skills, but more buffs/debuffs). One of my main reasons for wanting to try. whee |

I never get any parties on my Champ because I'm sort of afraid of being useless (hell, I don't even have G-Fist or MS,) but that sounds like a party I might be able to hold my own in, ahahaha. xD When are you guys usually online? I have sort of a weird work schedule but hopefully I can manage to be free. When I'm on RO, I'm usually on Tristan Skyshadow or Monsieur Meursault if you want to try PMing me. Or MSN might be better if you have it? And I'm right in that range too;  *scribbles over crappy job level* >.> I always did want to try a BP too... One of my friends on Iris is currently trying to talk me into making one on that server, since I'm pretty much out of Loki slots. They do seem fairly similar to combo monks, like you said... Honestly people had logged into my account and leveled my FS aco for me. gonk Then I was dragged to a thor's leech as a high aco. Honestly if they didn't help she'd still be a high aco rageing to get to job 40. They just wanted a slave. I'm on to them. I guess when I ever come back I'll exp item one. @_@ I HATE ACOS. DX TAFF SMASH Also don't worry about the job level. my HP and Gypsy are both 90 and about that job level iirc. So you're not too far off target. |

Support builds have have horrible regen no matter how much Int they have, and battle builds will never have the dodge or pack the punch of other fighty type classes. >.> I do like the fact that they're cheap and self-sufficient though. Seriously, EVERYBODY is your friend when you make a FS. I originally started mine on a dare (true story) and just used him to help my friends with a crop of new characters, which they stopped playing at 8x or so. Then I helped another friend with her LK until level 91 or so. This was on Chaos. When I moved to Loki, I didn't intend to take him with me, but my friends told me to, and since they were paying for the transfer anyway, I did. So, as soon as I got to Loki, it was non-stop "Hey Tris, get your Priest and let's go Nameless/Thor's/Thanatos, etc." and he became a 9x HP in less than a month. But that's when I decided I was really tired of FSing, and I sure as hell didn't want my first 99/70 to be a FS HP. I wanted it to be one of my weirdo characters nobody likes. Of course now that I've pretty much retired him, half of my RO friends don't talk to me anymore, roffle. >_> I guess jlvl depends on where you level. My Champ spent a lot of time in places that apparently have bad base/job ratios, like Magma dungeon and Biolabs 1. The only trans of mine that has a "healthy" job level is my HP, who's 92/61 or 62, I think. |

My HBP has a highish job level (she's currently 84/53), because she leveled in an00bies... BUT ITS NOT WHAT YOU THINK!
I beat them to death. 1k damage a smack /flex. Of course, due to my aversion to taking screenies, the only one I have is from 4 levels ago (rest assured I have hit a str bonus since then D< )  And sorry for not responding, Tris. I have the flu and have been sleeping lots. emo We don't really have a usual time (peoples's schedules vary due to work, family, etc). But generally its in the evenings (Like after 7pm, PST) through past midnight ( xd ). What's your schedule like? O: |

I've been told I should try Anubis-dealies with my Champ sometime, since they have nice low Def and nice high HP (which makes them good CCC bait) but that I'd probably need a battlegrounds mace to make it decent exp. Nuts to that! >_> As for schedules, uh... Mine is sort of strange. On Wed/Thu I work 11am-8pm and on Fri-Sun I work 8am-5pm, and my days off are Mon/Tue. I'm generally home and bumming around online about an hour after work ends! I'm not always on RO though. If you have MSN, I'm almost always on that. |

I just used a +8 Tri Bloody Chain in that screenie (reg damage seems high because I have SC 9 and Demon Bane 5 in that screenie, not to mention Asp). So BG mace not required. Though, I got a BG mace and I keep meaning to test it whee

And other people need to post in this thread more often, I'm starting to feel like a jackass for posting in it so much. Hurhurrrrr... Anyway, I really want to deck my Champ out in a Thorny Buckler/Bison Horn combo. So, during the last drops event, I bought a box of bubble gum (which is amazing since I rarely ever buy Kafra points) and used two pieces at Thor's 2 before getting so ungodly frustrated with Guardians and Imps that I had to quit. Yesterday night, I decided to use a third, and this happened AFTER it ran out.  : D! Now there's the issue of what card to put in it... I like being mobile and I tend to switch leveling locations a lot, so I might just go for Hodremlin. /slur And its not a screenshot, but...  Fanart of my HP from the art trade thread on irowiki. xD |
