Crusaders & Paladins

Hey guys. So, I just joined a server, I'm not sure on the max level but I think it's about 150, on a 10x10x10 rate.

Question I have is, I'm playing a swordie right now, definitely going Sader. Problem I'm having is which spec to go with. I'm definitely trying to gear more towards PvM, because I don't care to take part in PvP and Duels and such. What's a good spec for that, and how should I distribute my stats?

Right now, I've got ~20 in both Str and Vit, and 9 in Agi. Please help a guy who's just getting back into RO!

It depends on what kind of Crusader/Paladin you are going to make. A Sheild Paladin perhaps or a tank? Maybe a Sac? PvM I would recommend GC crusader/paladin for mobbing or Sheild Paladin for specific monsters. Tell me the type of Pala you want and i can give you the specific. P.S I personally use the Sheild Paladin because I can hunt Orleans and other goodies in Thors with the right gear IF you have those items in your new server. This is not my account and I don't have one.

Well, I was thinking along the lines of GC, just so I can mob a ton of stuff, and level up quickly. It's a roleplay server, so PvP rarely comes into play for a character like mine.

Level 150 sounds like renewal might be involved, as most pirate servers have implemented things similar to it. If its not, then I would suggest going shield if money is not a problem for you, but you will have to get a sl to do really good damage.

If renewal is involved, then I heard that shield sucks >.<. I like the shield part of the crusader/padalin cause it made it different from the knight class, but now its been left in the dust in renewal T-T.

Actually, I don't think renewal has anything to do with it. I decided to go Shield Boomerang/Chain anyways.

gears really just depend where you train, but do get a nig garb with raydric and varaint shoe. Shield should either be bradium or cross shield with either reduction cards or tamuran, (personally i would just go tamuran unless your lazy to switch shields). If possible, get yourself linked and your set for life.

Sacrifice type is the best for paladin.....
