Stupid pointless bump! I'm hoping if people see THREE topics about third classes in the top 10 posts, they'll finally stop posting new ones.

Roffle @ the Priestess comment...

Aco = full skirt
Priestess = skirt slit up one side
High Priestess = skirt slit up BOTH sides
Archbishop = skirt reduced to loincloth and butt cape

IT IS THE TRUTH!

And yeah, Rune Knights are kind of silly. Mainly the eye-bleedingly bright colors of the gems. And I can't remember if I said this already, but why does the female RK have huge armor plates on her arms and legs, yet she's in her underwear? Give the poor woman some pants, or at least a cute Paladin-esque miniskirt.

Sorcerors don't need AoE spells. Sages/Scholars were meant to be support classes. They are not Wizards, end of story. And hell, if its offense you want, how about a Hindsight Scholar with Double Bolt, 99 Int, Cecil Damon cards, Thorny Buckler + Bison Horn combo and a Soul Link? At that point you don't even NEED an AoE. xD

And holy crap, if Shuras got buffed combo skills, I might try to 99 my Champion. Combo skills are tragically underpowered. I love combo Monks/Champs, but even I have to admit they suck compared to G-Fist/Spirit builds at this point in the game.

And what the hell is this about Mechanics "stealing" a Gunslinger skill? Slingers are a ranged class already, AND they have mines. Why do they need remote turrets? The skill just seems redundant for Gunslingers. And why hate Mechanics just for that? It was the game developers' decision, not the class' decision. o_O

I thought that turret skill was supposed to be for Mastersmiths originally, not Slingers. But that could just be my brain malfunctioning.

The 'turret' skill sounds similar to Biochemist's biocannibalize or whatever. Only this time instead of unmoving abominable plants you get unmoving...mechanical abominations. If the turrets had more to them than just attacking normally (aka, different attacks, upgrades/etc) THEN it would be interesting.

---- Darek's imagination gone wild... -------
Summon Turret. You summon (aka build) a turret next to you.

Upgrade Turret: Turret. Whilst next to an active turret you can use this skill on the turret to create a rocket on the turret which allows for an extra turret/gun on the active turret allowing for the chance of 'Double Attack' to be used by the Turret. Increasing the level of this skill adds up to a maximum of 50% of the effectiveness of the Thief's Double Attack skill.

Upgrade Turret II: Hidden Trap. Whilst next to an active turret you can use this skill on the turret to create a one-off hidden trap that acts like magnum break when the turret is dealt melee damage. Increasing the level of this skill adds up to a maximum of 3 attacks possible.

Upgrade Turret III: Meals on Wheels. o lol. Whilst next to an active turret you can use this skill on the turret to create wheels under the turret to allow it to slowly move. Increasing the level of this skill increases the speed of the turret up to 50% of normal character walking speed.

Charge Turret. Whilst next to an active turret, you may use this skill which allows you to insert up to 10 Elemental Balls.

Elemental Blast. When charged using Charge Turret, using Elemental Blast allows the active turret to fire elemental blasts that deal significant long-range damage similar to the properties of Bash. The order of elemental balls placed into the turret using Charge Turret will decide the order of element of each blast that comes out of the active turret when using this skill.

Lock and Load. Whilst next to an active turret, you may use this skill which allows you to insert a total of 1 (ONE) Garganta per level for a maximum of 5 Garganta.

Artillery Barrage. After using Lock and Load the user is able to use Artillery Barrage. Using an active turret (you can have up to 3 turrets) this skill allows for the firing of an 8-cell-range, 4x4 AoE neutral-based blast.

Artillery Barrage: Doomsday. After using Lock and Load on all 3 turrets you are able to use Artillery Barrage: Doomsday. Each turret may be assigned a different target, or the same target. Garganta attacks are stackable. However, both Artillery Barrage skills deal damage that acts like Magnum Break, whereby splash damage is caused (in other words the more people under the blast radius, the less damage each person is dealt).

Throw Spanner: Throw up to a 4-cell range a Spanner. Spanner's are created from using a healing potion (such as Red, White Potion/etc) and a Chunk of Metal using Anvil and Hammer. Throw Spanner acts in the same way as Throw Potion.
However Throw Spanner will effect different users differently. Mechanical monsters (Metaling) and allies (Turrets/etc) will be healed by this skill. All other non-metallic species will be damaged by this skill.

---- ....End wild imagination -------

I loled at the Priest comment.
XDDD

Ah, just getting more and more naked for god.
No wonder I almost always see female priests instead of male ones.
OMG, they should make the male priests show off more skin, that would amuse me.

Uh, thanks for the necro bump, Ruim? I completely forgot I made this thread, hurhurrrr! Wow, and back in February of last year, yet! o_O

And Blackmager, I agree. That would be pretty funny. I always whine and complain "omg, female sprites are too naked!" (and its one of the main reasons my characters are all male,) but really, a lot of the male designs are sort of naked and fanservice-y too. Bare chests and midriffs, tight lowrider pants, etc. Male Priests have always had that little window of bare chest, but it's stayed relatively the same size through the Priest -> High Priest -> Arch Bishop transition. It'd be pretty funny to see that taken to the degree that the skirt slits have been taken on the ladies. xD

i think the most fanservicey looking sprite from the 3rd classes are the Shura and Mechanic ( I happen to love both these sprites too XD )

really, I mean, the Monks, Champions and Shuras are showing more skin.
Cmon male priests, have some fun.
Instead of just letting have the little v-neck, give them unbuttoned shirts or something (you know, unbuttoned all the way down).
XD

And then make the sleeves get slightly shorter and shorter...

The Male Arch Bishop does have the v-neck thing, but it seems to be even less visible because everything going on with it.

One day, these will actually sound good.
I have a strings obsession.
Lets make an electric string quartet.
Dibs on first violin.
4laugh

I still like archbishops the most sprite wise ;3

Still sort of mad about the Rune Knights losing skills exclusive to swords so now no one in their right mind would want to make a sword RK -.-

Haha, Shuras are pretty much the only 3rd class sprites I absolutely dig. I like female Mechanics, but I think male Mechanics are... awkward looking. The bright red armored shoulders and bare chest are just sort of "whut?" to me, but "fanservice" is a good explanation for them being that way. *cough*

I agree that there should be more sexy Priest skin! Why should the ladies have all the fun? A bare chest has gotta be sexier than all of those stupid bondage gear-esque straps and buckles...

Genetics have the worst art ever period for the history of RO (and possibly MMOs, including those Chinese knock-off ones).
