zomg rules

im looking for like what not to do rules n i can't find any other than no spam n things against the tos but i can't find any of like don't do glitches type stuff of ss or ps this way...where is that?

(i known that its disallowed to create other accounts while gold/trading etc. with both accounts but that i would not ... only play zOMG again from beginning wink )

I just wanted to reply to your post - you seem a bit confused about accounts, and I'd like to clear a few things up for you.

You are totally allowed to have more than one Gaia account - these are often called secondary accounts or mule accounts. Many Gaians have mule accounts to do a variety of things from role-playing a different gender, to storing items, to posting in specific forums, etc.

Also, just so you know, you are allowed to move gold and items between your accounts. As long as you earned or received the gold/items in a legitimate manner, you can send it to any account you want, including a secondary account.

I also have another account that I only use for zOMG. I also leaves the gold that I earned in that account. I have not had any problem with it so I just knew that it is okay as long it dont break any TOS rules.

Wait, now I'm confused. As far as I've been told it's not allowed to play on one account and jump to another account as soon as I hit the gold cap (i.e. in zOMG or Booty Grab), and to move the gold I earned on the 2nd account to the first account.

There is much confusion about mules around. Some people even think it's against the ToS to have mules at all.

Maybe it would help if you admins could make a sticky about mules, what is allowed and what isn't.

In terms of zOMG, the developers stated they discourage attempting to circumvent gold caps/nerfs by using mules. That's how they see things and how they want to lessen inflation.

We appreciate the levelheaded level of discourse, and thank you for your understanding. I'm going to mention something at the behest of Customer Service, even though I don't believe that there is anyone in the zOMG community that would do this: using mules for the purpose of earning gold and funneling gold to one account is considered against the TOS. If the admins see a bunch of people running mules they would issue warnings / bans / whatnot, so they did want me to give fair warning to everyone.

As far as funneling goes, a few moderators (current and retired)spoke on the matter.

That applies to those people who create multiple (we're talking a hell of a lot here) of throwaway accounts in order to take advantage of the free stuff, and then usually abandoning them. As in the purpose for making the account is to take the free stuff you get at the start, funnel it, and throw the account away.

You making mules and acting on them normally is fine. Even doing DC and trading it is fine.

"Gaia may halt, suspend, discontinue, or reverse any Gold transaction (whether proposed, pending or past) in cases of actual or suspected fraud, violations of these Terms or other laws or regulations, or deliberate disruptions to or interference with Gaia Online, such as creating multiple secondary accounts strictly to accumulate Gold by using site features and then funneling it to a singular account."
Rule is primarily in place to prevent mass mule abuse. Having 1 or 2 or 10 mules you play with and sending gold to your main isn't a problem. That particular bit of policy is I would guess is to prevent someone from, hypothetically speaking, creating say 100 or 200, or 1000 mules just to collect the gold sign up bonus, or one time grants, like the 25 cash from prom a few years ago for example. I highly doubt anyone would get banned for using mules to play zOMG! legitimately.

However, I would not go so far as to encourage or even oking using mules as ways to get around the server hopping prevention. It's there for a reason, let's not try to get around features that prevent the game from becoming unplayable.

However, in light of the intent of the OP, he just wanted to replay the game on a mule and not use it to directly harvest gold or loot, or circumvent nerfs or even create an army of them. In that application, what siskataya mentioned is sound.


If you really want to discuss this issue, this is not the forum for it. I would recommend you creating a thread in Site Feedback or maybe other forums like the GCD or GD just to see what people think of it.
