This took some time…
I looked through the FAQ and came up with a couple of suggestions.

Here they are:

1. General Suggestions:
(a) Place the FAQ somewhere, where they are easier to be noticed. Draw the attention of users towards the FAQ by presenting them in a monthly feature
(b) Update all pictures in the FAQ
(c) Add a section about account safety (scam PMs, pop-ups, gold giver/generator scams, fake marketplace scams)
(d) Regarding Games
___(i) add information regarding aquariums (maintaining a tank, booty grab, verizon bottle)
___(ii) add information regarding zOMG (FAQ, how to play)

2. Monthly Collectibles
(a) Add an explanation why items are frozen and when they will unfreeze.

3. Security Warnings: Requires the following to be added
(a) Redirection warning – explanation and image
(b) Bot warning ( “Slow down hotshot” ) – image, explanation, solutions to avoid the message popping-up

4. Evolving Items
(a) Add information regarding EI generations

5. Profiles: Provide information about how to modify profiles (classic and current):
(a) What can be modified
(b) Where to go to modify (media, profile theme override)
(c) In eventu: provide links to existing guides

6. Marketplace
(a)“New” rules regarding the cancellation of auctions (5 minute rule!!!) need to be implemented!
(b) Add information about vending pass
(c) Suggestion: explaining that when selling a quantity > 1, the Buy Now Price is a total for the whole amount of items sold and is NOT the price per item!
(d) Provide information about frozen and soulbound items (including pre-12/08 zOMG rings)

7. Gettings Site Assistance:
(a) Provide information about the status of moderators (members who volunteer, not Gaia staff, no pay etc.)
(b) Provide information about the different moderator types
(c) Provide information about how to find a moderator
(d) Update the images of buttons (PM button, Report button)
(e) Add information about the reporting system in Games and Towns

8. Forums:
(a) Update images of buttons and windows
(b) Add information about post actions
(c) Add explanaition regarding signature management via My Gaia -> Account Settings
(-> Preferences)
(d) Add information about each forum having special rules, that apply to the respective forum apart from general rules. Users are encouraged to familiarize themselves with any special forum rules before posting in a certain forum or subforum
(e) Optionally: add a link to a BBCode guide (would be convenient)

9. Gaia Guild Network
(a) Update images of buttons
(b) Add information about guild captains, vice captains, crew (abilities, promotions)
(c) Add information about guild management (subforums, funds)

10. Trading
(a) Add a section about trading safety! (due diligence before accepting trades)
(b) Update images of buttons and symbols

11. Gaia Slots
(a) Add link to Gold Mountain
(b) Mention possibility to reach Gold Mountain via Games -> Slots -> Buy Tokens

12. Gaia Cards
(a) Mention possibility to reach Gold Mountain via Games -> Slots -> Buy Tokens
(b) Explain the meaning of the “energy bar”

13. Gaia Homes
(a) Add information about how to find one’s house

14. Shops
(a) Modify the information about selling items to stores (now via inventory!)
(b) List the item exchanges available in shops

15. Personal Options
(a) Avatar customisation: Provide information about the “Item not found in your inventory”-bug and a solution (work-around) to the problem (get nekkid button)

16. Terms and Definitions
(a) Update quote of the Terms of Service! (Section 4 lit c Terms of Service!)
(b) Update staff information: Change Moderator Assistant to Forum Assistant and change the color accordingly
(c) Provide information about how to contest a ban

17. Other site options
(a) Gaia Gift Certificates: Is this still in the system? If not remove this information

18. Miscellaneous
(a) Update information about avatar deletion (salon-bought hair and potion-related modifications will be lost)
(b) Provide link for avatar deletion

The Report System makes it easier for users to report inappropriate threads and posts. It also makes it easier for the Mods to handle the reports effectively.

NOTE
When you see something in violation, it is best to simply report the thread/post. Responding generally does not help the situation and can make it worse. For example, responding to a thread that is breaking the rules brings the thread to the top of the forum where it is more visible.

Report Abuse/Harassment
You can find this link at the bottom of the main forums page. Use this form if a user is abusing or harassing you outside of the forums, such as through PMs. If the abuse is occurring in a thread, please use the "Report this Post" button. Please provide all information you have available including usernames, links and screencaps of PMs. Please be patient when submitting a harassment report. It can take anywhere from a few days to weeks or more for a mod to begin work on your case.
