i donated $20.00 USC this month (( the letter was sent on the 2nd of this month )) and today just a short while ago i got June 05's insted of sealed envelopes...

Note: i have sent in a feed back thing on it...

The same thing happened to me.

I too donated $20.00 and recieved June donation letters . I am not sure how much information is needed as it is my first time to have to fill out a feedback form .

is there any prediction on when the people who donated in person at AX will receive their letters or is that still all being worked out. I am obviously curious because I made my monthly donation while attending the Con.

PayPal Donation Issues.

There currently appears to be a problem with PayPal and multiple letter donations. Rather than giving a letter for each increment of $2.50, it seems to be granting a letter for each donation transaction, no matter the amount. The admins are aware of the situation.

For now, please do not attempt to donate large amounts. If you have already donated, the situation will be corrected in the near future, so please be patient.

So if you haven't recieved the correct number of letters for your donation just hold on for now. You should not send a feedback form for now.

For all three of you, make sure you include your paypal reciept(if that's how you paid) or the check number and the name of the check writer(whoever's name the checkbook is in-if you paid by check) or the money order number and who it was written for(if you paid by money order).

As usual, all this information is on the first page of this thread, it'll save you time if you read it before asking your questions(you might find your answer right away instead of having to wait for someone to reply) smile

Hmm I did not know about the donation problem.

Will they give us the rest of our letters when the problem is fixed?

I donated $10 dollars like 2 days ago and I haven't gotten anything is it because of the bug? Also, will I get my letters at all?

Don't send a feedback form, just try to be patient.

Hiya........thank you for having this up! It helped out a lot.................lucky you answered my question, but this brings another question to mind. That being can anyone answer if since the glitch with Paypal is the way it is, could you just simply donate a multiply of times at $2.50? I donate on 7/8/2005, at $7.50 and got one letter, so now I wait on the other two.
But I was going to donate more, so, to help prevent the glitch, should I just do it $2.50 each time, or would that be bad to do? Or would it be better to wait it out and the donate the total amount?

At the time being, please try not to donate large sums. Yes you can donate 2.50 and you will get one letter.

As mentioned in the FIRST page of this FAQ. At this time there is a donation bug. Please avoid donating in large sums...only 2.50 please...at this time. This is currently being fixed. More information can be found either on the front page of this FAQ thread or the GAIA Problems stickie.

Can you open an envelope bouight at the market place

Yes you can open an UNSEALED envelope that you brought in the Market Place. Anything that is sealed..CAN NOT be opened.
